Beautiful 2 Bedroom Lower Level Apt in Roncesvalles/High Park
The Private Furnished Executive Apartment in the sought after High Park/Roncesvalles/Bloor West area of Toronto. "Your Home Away From Home" for Short/long term rentals The century old renovated house is situated on a quiet residential street steps to the subway and Toronto's largest park, High Park- 400 acres. Our property contains three fully furnished boutique apartments: A three bedroom apartment on the 2nd &3rd floor, a One bedroom garden suite on the main floor, and this two bedroom apartment in the lower/basement level. It can accommodate 4 people and has been renovated with full 8 ft high ceilings, with raised hardwood flooring. HPR Suites has its own "Little Free Library" located on the front lawn of our place, where neighbours and guests can take a book and leave a book. The two bedroom suite comes complete with a full sized washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, fully appointed kitchen, bedding, linens, towels, fully enclosed backyard, BBQ, free utilities, free Wifi, premium cable TV, air conditioning, free access to adult and children's bicycles, and free parking. Cleaning services are also included. Apartment Details: It is an open concept living/dining/kitchen space. The galley kitchen (13ftx8ft) has a breakfast bar with stools, new granite countertops, computer station, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator and range. Dining area is 17ftx10ft with a 4 ft x 5 ft south facing window and garden door. The living area (11x11) has a 42" flat screen TV, a cozy fireplace area with a three seat sectional seat sofa and a 4x2 window. The bathroom (5x7) is a 4 pc with a bathtub/shower Walkout to a 10ft x12ft private courtyard with a gas BBQ, table and 4 chairs. Bedrooms have a queen size bed and two twin beds. The suite also comes with a shared enclosed garden, 1 parking space. We supply "hypoallergenic pillows, certified asthma and allergy friendly". We can provide a child's bedrail, a high chair and a Evenflo Pac n' Play. THE NEIGHBOURHOOD Recently, our neighbourhood High Park/Swansea has been ranked in the Top 3, out of 140, of the 2013 August edition of Toronto Life Magazine's "The Best Places to live in the City." It was also featured in Air France's in-flight Magazine.
Our Neighbourhood scores 100 out of 100 on the Transit score website for cities. Walking: Based on the "WALK SCORE WEBSITE"? our property on Alhambra Ave, has a Walk Score of 98 out of 100. This location is a Walker's Paradise so daily errands do not require a car.
The house is located on an old tree lined street steps to the subway, 10 minute/24 hour streetcars to downtown, Gardiner Expressway and QEW. It is within walking distance to excellent primary and secondary schools, great bistros, cafés, restaurants, pubs, intimate music clubs, internationally renown Hughs Room, bakeries, green grocer stores, specialty cheese stores, butcher shops, CNE/Exhibition Place, 5 min from St. Joseph Hospital, and the recently saved and community run Revue Cinema. The house is two blocks from High Park with its numerous playgrounds, ponds, leash free dog trails, children's zoo, restaurant, and running/hiking/walking trails, skating rink, swimming and child wading pools, baseball/soccer/football fields and the Howard Park Tennis Club. It is also close to the waterfront Martin Goodman running and biking trail, Sunnyside Beach and its' volleyball courts and Toronto's largest exterior swimming pool. This area is well known for its great food scene and family friendly communities. Just steps to the Keele or Dundas West Subway stations and to 4 different streetcars lines that run through the city. I lived here for 2 months. I highly recommend this place. It’s a beautiful neighbourhood. The place was as advertised and suited my needs well while I waited for my long term house. It is extremely close to the subway and many amenities all within close walking distance.
Very nice apartment, a few blocks from High Park and very close to shops, neighborhood restaurants, bookstores, transit, etc. Simple, not luxurious. We enjoyed our time there and were very comfortable. Worth mentioning--the beds were very comfortable. Also the owner and a nearby friend were easy to reach and helpful when we needed a quick answer to a question or some local info. Highly recommended.

This property was incredible! It checked off all of our boxes, and even the boxes we didn't anticipate. I would definitely recommend this property to others, and I would stay there again next time I'm in the area.
This property is located on a lovely street with a short wall to coffee shops and restaurants ( block(s). Even though it is a basement unit, everything is bright and cheerful with lots of mirrors to make it appear brighter. Also, there is excellent lighting everywhere!
Communication with hosts was efficient.
We would, no will, stay again!
This accommodation was appointed with all the amenities in a quiet neighborhood with access to downtown transportation just blocks away. Highly recommended.
Very well-maintained accommodation in a tree-lined neighborhood of older houses with tons of charm. Very accessible to downtown Toronto. All the comforts of home.

Auf den Bildern sieht alles ganz schön aus. Die Realität war jedoch sehr ernüchternd. Das Haus ist sehr alt.
Die Holzböden sind verzogen, uneben und unterschiedlich hoch. Man hat das Gefühl auf einem Schiff zu sein und wird seekrank. Wir wurden seekrank und haben die Wohnung nach 3 Tagen wieder verlassen. Eine Entschädigung werden wir nicht erhalten. Nach der Reaktion des Eigentümers sind wir uns dabei sicher.
Bei der Ankunft mußten wir die Nachbarn fragen, wo wir das Auto parken können. Wir haben vom Besitzer keine Info erhalten.
Der Grill war verrostet und unapettilich. Die Fahrräder sind alt und nicht verkehrstüchtig.
Alles im Allen waren wir von der Wohnung sehr enttäuscht.

Great place to stay!
Everything stated in the description of the property is true! Great location, easy to get to all transportation in the city, quiet neighborhood, easy to get to restaurants, coffee shops, groceries, everything is within easy walking distance. The owner is very friendly and shares tips on where to find everything in the area! We highly recommend this property to our friends and family and everyone else visiting the city for a few days.
