Amazing relaxing hotel in the countryside
We had a fantastic 2 night stay here on our way back to catch the ferry from Santander. Driving up to it has a real 'wow' factor and the design of the structure continues from the impressive facade all the way through the hotel. We felt like we were the only guests and had the run of the spa/ pool zone to ourselves for a whole day. The restaurant was high quality although a little expensive so the 2nd night we went into beautiful Toro about 10 minutes drive away where there are plenty of great traditional restaurants.

Beautiful hotel in an incredible location
I would highly recommend this hotel to anybody looking for luxury accommodations in the Toro / Zamora area. We went wine tasting at nearby Bodega Numanthia, and also tried a variety of incredible Tinto de Toro wines while traveling here and eating in the quaint medieval town of Toro. Valbusenda, which is a hotel but also a winery, also has some very good wines itself, a few of which we tried while visiting. The only suggestion I have is to encourage the hotel to clean their wine glasses without sanitizer or other chemicals that we felt interfered with our enjoyment of their wines. We believe that we smelled and tasted something off in some of the glasses that when rinsed seemed fine. Other than that minor (addressable) issue, we thought the service was outstanding -- they treated us like at a bed and breakfast -- the food, especially the included breakfast, very good, and the property spectacular. The infinity pool was one of my favorite amenities. It had almost no chlorine smell. Next time, I'd stay an extra night or two to fully enjoy the other features of the hotel, including the fancy spa, onsite winery, and daring contemporary restaurant. I hope more people will make it out to this gorgeous spot as a destination resort or if passing through on a wine tour or business trip.

Wonderful wine hotel dogs welcome
A great way to break up the journey to/from the ferry in northern Spain. After less than 24 hours there I was relaxed, refreshed and ready to continue my journey to Portugal. For people travelling with dogs, the only comment I have is the hotel should provide an inside area you can sit with your dog and enjoy the wine. Also discreet bins for clean up would be helpful. Dog and I loved the beautiful music they play in the rooms. I had a fabulous meal and the staff were thoroughly helpful and friendly.

The hotel is a must if you want to enjoy a break with your partner or your family! Everything is excelent: the food, the wine, the room, the spa, the pool. The service is absolutely fantastic: more staff would not hurt though

The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and has top facilities. Breakfast was amazing as well, maybe not with the biggest selection but VERY good quality. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful, so perfect for relaxation. Just one brown haired lady in reception that wasn't so service minded.

Stunning. Quite simply, one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at in my life, irrelevant of cost. The hotel is immaculate, and the architecture of both the main building and adjoined winery is delicate yet bold. Staff on the desk were welcoming and fluent in English, and couldn't do enough for me. The room itself was seriously impressive, and the fixtures and fittings of the very highest quality. Very modern, but not at all cold. As for the food, I have never tasted anything finer anywhere. The chefs are wonderfully creative, and everything was cooked to perfection. Very creative in their use of flavours (white chocolate, lavender and oxtail anyone?), and perfectly presented. Both dinner and breakfast were of the highest quality. I did not have as long to spend there as I would've liked, and so will definitely have to make a return trip if for no other reason than to tour the winery. The house wine I sampled at dinner makes that a no-brainer!

Prachtig modern hotel midden de Toro wijnstreek. Heel groot gebouw met alle faciliteiten wat je maar kan denken, prachtige Spa en zwembad. Grote ondergrondse parking , lekker en uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet en goed restaurant. Enig minpuntje ( als dat al een minpunt is ) : héél weinig andere mensen voor zo'n groot en mooi complex !

Magnífico hotel, muy bien atendido, en la vega del Río Duero. Ideal para descansar. Fantástico spa (conozco muchos). El número de habitaciones del hotel es el ideal para que todas las estancias comunes del mismo esten agradables. Es servicio, inmejorable. Fantástico restaurante con una carta breve pero de excelente calidad. Las vistas, apropiadas para u hotel en el que buscas tranquilidad: una interminable vega de cultivos y al fondo, sobre una elevación, la ciudad de Toro, a unos 10 km. Sólo puedo hacer notar que la zona de dormitorio de la habitación era justita, aunque la cama es muy cómoda y hay carta de almohadas.

Es la segunda vez que visitamos Valbusenda y la experiencia resulta más que positiva: hotel muy bonito, en mitad del campo, grandes ventanales, habitaciones muy cómodas y silenciosas -donde se descansa de verdad-, spa muy tranquilo y con muy buenas instalaciones. Muy buen servicio de desayuno, el personal de todo el hotel muy amable y profesional.

Hotel muy aconsejable para quienes buscan tranquilidad y buen servicio en medio del campo. Paisaje de viñas con una franja boscosa paralela al Duero. El restaurante es magnífico y muy recomendables los vinos de producción propia.

Great hotel, great service
It was our second time in the Valbusenda hotel and it definitely will not be our last one. Hotel is spotless and has a very calming atmosphere. Loved the chillout music in the rooms. Also very generous - as it is a bodega there is lots of wine to try and I definitely recommend visit to the bodega with tasting!

Un gran hotel en un sitio que no te esperas
Un pequeño gran hotel. Recepción personalizada con detalle de bienvenida en la bar y luego en la habitación, se encargar del viaje del equipaje del coche a la habitación, minibar, cafés y tés incluidos, preparación de la habitación para la noche, agua con limón fresquita en la piscina y sin fin de detalles. El restaurante moderno, comida con fusión de sabores, ligeramente subido de precio para el entorno. El desayuno muy agradable, completo y de calidad. El spa está correcto, para mi gusto le falta una piscina de gravitación, pero eso es algo más personal. Debería mejorarse la limpieza al final del día. Finalmente cuando nos metimos en el coche para el viaje de vuelta hasta nos había puesto un par de botellitas para refrescarnos durante el viaje.
