Introverts Paradise
What an amazing place to stay to get away from it all. Super quiet location where the bird song enhances the tranquility. Lovely log burner to keep the place warm, and extremely comfortable beds. Hosts are very welcoming ☺️

Beautiful off the grid experience
We loved our xmas stay at Longspur. It was relaxing peaceful and everything we wanted it to be. Beautiful cabin with lovely detail. Listened to the birds and totally switched off from technology Perfect!

Absolutely Stunning
We really loved our time here at Longspur Eco Cottage, a great way to recharge and revitalize the mind, body and soul. Surrounded by the Ngahere (bush) and listening to the Karanga (call) of the all Manu (birds). My Partner asked me to marry him on New Years Day 2022 so this place will always hold a special place in our hearts. Thanks again Tineke & Stew

A piece of paradise

Fantastic little cottage

Beautiful hidden gem
This place is PERFECT for those wanting to escape the city life, recharge and enjoy some quality time away from technology. Communication from the owner was great. The cottage is isolated and surrounded by bushes, cottage itself was exceptionally clean, well equipped and very cosy! My partner and I done the beautiful bush walk that brings you up to Rocky Knob where the views are incredible. (Defs worth doing if you stay here) Can’t recommend this place enough and already looking forward to another trip back again in the future 😊 Thank you!

A perfect weekend get away after a few crazy busy weeks. Fantastic private location, comfortable bed and great bush setting. A little oasis of calm. Perfect! Communication from the owner was exceptional and all went smoothly. I think we will be back....

It is our second time staying and we loved both stays. It is quiet and peaceful and very comfortable. We enjoyed being off grid. Keith enjoyed the Tora Challenge and I enjoyed reading in the sun and listening to the birds.

A beautiful isolated location. Very comfortable and attractive decor. I enjoyed the well equipped kitchen, the comfy bed, the beautiful bush and nearby beach. But most of all I loved being away from the phone and internet!

Incredible Hideaway
We enjoyed our stay immensely. Welcoming check in. The house has a lot of character, is quirky and is taken good care of. The sound system and bbq were particular highlights, as were the board games. The section is lush with bush and the birdsong is gorgeous. Really the perfect getaway, you totally forget you’re away from internet or cell coverage! The rugged Tora coastline is just minutes away, and there are walks on the property, so there’s plenty to do. We loved it and we’ll be back for sure.

Just what we needed
Really friendly, lots of firewood, completely isolated with beautiful bush all around you - I’ve never seen a grove of kōwhai like it! Everything we needed to recharge our batteries. It was pouring with rain and freezing when we arrived and we still had a great and cozy time

Lovely secluded bach
We had such a nice 2 days away. The property is nice and cozy and has beautiful views. Especially in the evening when the sun goes down. The walks are really nice too. Bit of a challenge but when you reach Rocky knob it's definitely worth it.

Longspur was a perfect break, where we were able to enjoy the environment and good company without the distraction of technology. What a place to stay to get away from it all!
My husband and I just loved staying here. What a wonderful place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Especially cellphones and the digital way of life we have got used too. Definitely a must stay. We will definitely be back!
