"Wonderful property and great owner. Richard was great at pre-arrival communication and letting us know what to expect, what we needed and how to have an enjoyable time. We arrived and were very happy with our reservation. The house is bigger than what is appreciated in the pictures with lots of room for our party of 11. Wonderful open kitchen with all that we needed and it was wonderful to look out the porthole window watching the dolphins in the bay while cooking dinner. Spent several nice evenings watching sunsets on one of the many swings while enjoying the evening breeze. Caught nearly 5 dozen crabs off the bulkhead in about 5 hours. It was really nice to have an ice machine for keeping drinks cold going to the beach or icing down seafood (saved money and time). Family has already decided to go back again next year and we will stay longer. I highly recommend the property and Richard. Would give more stars if possible. "Our overall stay was wonderful. The description, amenities and location was wonderful. The host was wonderful to communicate with. The camp was top notch. I would recommend for anyone to stay. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. One suggestion we would be to put a concrete pad under the camp for boiling so it is easy to clean and doesn’t smell. Also, maybe try to consider adding a small window unit to the apartment bathroom."

"We had a family fishing trip to Fourchon and stayed here. Easy drive to the fishing charter and beautiful scenery to sit outside and relax afterwards. Location and camp well-kept. Sofa bed could be more comfortable, but we made it work. Overall, would stay again. Also, be sure to support your local fishermen and buy from the shrimpers down the road. Beautiful shrimp!"

"Jason was extremely helpful and accommodating. Our room was very clean and had everything we needed! I was honestly shocked by how large and updated the bathroom was. This place is also the best when it comes to proximity to excellent fishing and crabbing spots. We will certainly be back!! Fourchon did not disappoint. We caught 7 dozen crabs in 2 hours!"

"We can’t say enough about this property. Everything went smoothly. The owner contact was personable and helpful. The place is comfortable and inviting . It’s beautifully decorated and spacious. The kitchen and pantry were stocked to perfection and detail. Nice long porch for beach viewing and lots of seating for everyone. Will return soon!"

"Home and view were great. Pier awesome and the lights were wonderful at night. Crabs were caught and fish too. Home fully stocked with everything and clean. Only downside was the yard and driveway had pot holes and mud. It needs rocks and attention. The island had water the week before from the storm so it may have not been bad if it was not due to standing water. Overall our family would definitely stay again."
