"My wife and I stayed here for 3 days and we loved having a kitchen to prepare many of our meals in. Restaurants and the pub were a short walk away (oct is the end of the season for many store/business owners. The Whiskey Castle was closed but we were happy to step in the pub for some whiskey sampling there). "What a fabulous House, Location and place this was for us. We arrived on Saturday 11th Jan when there was a foot of Snow still lying on the ground (a spectacular journey all the way up from Brinklow near Rugby particularly coming across the Cairngorms into Tomintaul). The Snow melted during our stay for the week but the scenery and outlook from Mountain View was still spectacular.
