Escape to your own piece of the serene Tomahawk Northwoods at coziest cottage on Lake Alice! Located right next door to the boat launch, you are steps away from world-class fishing, boating, and kayaking (kayaks and canoes included with your stay). Snowmobilers and trail riders welcome! Enter the snowmobile trail system within 700 yards of the back door! Miles of summer trails are within a short distance as well. Unwind in the 2200 sqft. cottage with Dish TV or watch sunsets on the porch. Endless year-long family memories are waiting! Enjoy the best of Tomahawk in comfort!

The space:
The 2200 sqft. cottage has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Unwind on the wrap-around deck while watching sunsets on our outdoor patio set, or kick back and watch TV on one of two 55" flat screen TVs equipped with Dish Network. The outfitted kitchen has nearly everything you need to cook for the entire family. Bring a blanket and circle around the firepit overlooking the water while enjoying the breathtaking star-filled sky. The Town of King boat launch is located right next door to the cottage making launching your boat effortless. Tomahawk is known for their exceptional snowmobiling trails. Hop on the trail within 700 yards from the back door of the cottage. When the day is over, you are welcome to store your toys in our 2 car garage or at our pier.

We stayed in the winter. The house was very clean. Easy to find. It had all the amenities for cooking.The host responded quickly during booking and as the date of our trip came close gave clear and helpful expectation for checking in and checking out. All in all one of the best Vrbo's I have rented

Beautiful Property and Wonderful Host

We had a wonderful stay at this property and will definitely return. The property was very clean and very comfortable. It was fully stocked with everything needed to cook meals and enough space to enjoy family time together. Ben is a wonderful host; I appreciated all of the communication he shared and quick responses to questions we had before we arrived. It was evident that he wanted to make sure that we were comfortable and felt welcomed. We will recommend this property to friends and family and will stay again when in the area!

Family Get Away

The house was perfect, it had everything we needed. Plenty of space for a family of four and two dogs. The neighborhood was quiet. The garage was an added bonus for storage of our golf clubs and bikes. There was minimal boat traffic, water was usually pretty calm.

Nice Lake Alice retreat!

What a nice end of summer visit! We found this property was perfect for 2 couples and would have accommodated a third. All communication and services provided were great! Clean and lots of extra supplies in kitchen. Great having kayaks too. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Fantastic Lake Getaway

Great home! Beautiful lake! Wonderful stay! Our family loved our time at Lake Alice. The house was well equipped with all the essentials, including 3 kayaks and a canoe to paddle the gorgeous lake and Wisconsin River channel. Also less than 10 minutes from Tomahawk for groceries, fishing supplies, and restaurants. We also explored some hiking trails nearby and took a daytrip to Minocqua. Overall fantastic experience all around! Hosts were super accommodating and very easy to contact. Wouldn't hesitate to book again!

Lakeside Luxury

The property was super clean and a perfect fit for my famiy. We could fish off the dock and catch frogs on the shoreline. There is plenty of space and the washer/dryer was an added bonus for our week-long stay. The host was super prompt in responding to questions and was fully committed to making sure our stay was superb. The only downfall was that the hot water in the shower runs out after two minutes so you have to really hurry.

Fun at the lake

Loved the communication from the host. The views were beautiful! Very clean, nicely appointed. Beds were very comfortable. They now now have wifi which really helps. Looking forward to staying again. Our adult children immediately started playing with the board games, it was fantastic to see them off their phones and engaging with everyone. Each room had it's own bathroom which is so nice! Highly recommend.

Don't pass on this home!

Our second stay on this property. This is a wonderful home on a quiet lake. The property manager is kind, quick to respond and easy to work with. The home is beautiful and well appointed. There isn't anything you would need that isn't here. The basement suite is so awesome and perfect for part of your party who would like extra privacy. The home is super clean. Kudos to the cleaning crew! We love the porch! No need to look further, best home in the area, go ahead and book it, you won't regret it!

They've thought of everything

I hesitate to let anyone know about this great find. What a perfect property and the owners have taken care of everything to make your trip enjoyable. Our group of 6 adults stayed here for a long weekend of snowmobiling and ice fishing. First, location: the property is located adjacent to the boat launch and therefore in the winter direct access to the lake trails. (Note: it was NOT noisy or busy, however) The neighborhood is easy to find and quiet, with plenty of room to move and park trailers. Inside, the two-level house provided us with TWO large open kitchen and living spaces and bedrooms with private baths for each. Super, super clean. No musty cottage smell and the place was warm when we got there. I'm a stickler about beds and pillows - these were large, comfortable, and there were tons of pillows provided for every type of sleeper. One of the things we commented on throughout the weekend was how the owner had thought of everything we might need in case we forgot - spices, kitchen gadgets, ziploc bags, etc. That isn't something you see in most rentals and they really went above and beyond to make this feel like a second home. We had an all-around great experience!

Enjoyed our stay!

We stayed here for a family vacation. This lake house was very clean and well stocked with items like toilet paper, dish soap and foil / plastic wrap if we needed it. The kitchen had a variety of bakeware and cookware as well as utensils, bowls and dishes. The home was beautifully decorated and yet not over cluttered like some rentals we've been to. There was plenty of space with each bedroom having a bathroom near and a closet in each bedroom with plenty of hangers. Plenty of towels and pillows! Our daughter and her husband claimed the lower level and there was plenty of space to set up our granddaughter's pack-n-play in their room. We visited the week after Labor Day and the neighborhood was very quiet during our stay. A big plus for us was the town boat landing adjacent to this property so we could put the boat in, get it tied up to the dock and a short walk back to get the truck and trailer moved back to the lake house. The local bait shops were helpful with giving tips on where the fishing was best on Lake Alice and we caught several panfish. We also enjoyed use of the 3 kayaks and canoe and the yard games. There are several local restaurants / bars and a few accessible from the lake. Ben was easy to contact and responsive. We enjoyed our stay very much and had a great time. We will be back!
