The decor and location were perfect for the weekend stay. The electric car charger was an added bonus that they should highlight more. Unfortunately my excitement for the massive bedroom ended when I laid my head to sleep. I wish I was given the option to upgrade to a room that wasn’t noisy. The noise from a nearby club vibrated off the headboard and the free earplugs left by the hotel did nothing to help me sleep. Overall a good stay, but I would have enjoyed more of Valle de Bravo if I wasn’t so tired.

This was our second stay at Cinco Rodavento. The staff is very welcoming and go out of their way to ensure your stay is pleasant. We booked a King bed room and really enjoyed the space. Very spacious, comfortable, and modern room. The amenities were top notch as was the rain shower and plush and plentiful towels. We were in room 7 upstairs and thoroughly enjoyed our private patio with rocking chairs. Great place for before or after dinner cocktails. The hotel plays mostly mellow music in the courtyard until 10 PM, which we mostly enjoyed as well. The foliage and vines on our patio were beautiful. The hotel supplies filtered water in-room that you can get refilled anytime. No need for bottled water here. The RUF rooftop bar is certainly worth checking out. We had a cocktail up there one night and were waited on hand and foot! I think we were the only guests at the hotel during our stay. The only negative experience we had was some loud sanding and construction taking place early evening outside some neighboring rooms. It seemed odd to be doing loud maintenance during that time of day. We called the front desk and they promptly stopped the work. Good customer service. If you are looking for an upscale, chic but non-pretentious hotel, we highly recommend Cinco Rodavento. Great location between the water and zocalo and walking distance to most sites.
