"Lovely property in a perfect location in Mapua village with waterfront access. Fully equipped for indoor or outdoor dining, very comfortable, great space for the family to relax. Communication with the host was very easy. I would highly recommend and we would definately want to stay again."

"Lovely warm home, great quality linens etc. The home is a wee bit tired but beautifully presented. The view down to the water across to the ranges is amazing. We sat there in the afternoons into the evening marvelling at the change of colours and light. Well set up. Even has a coffee plunger (that gets a gold star as we do love our plunger coffee). "Nelson is a wonderful community, and this property is ideally located -- close to downtown, grocery stores, and nearby hiking. Shared bike/ped paths were also nearby for quick access. The unit has a couple of bicycles, and we used these as our primary in-town transportation. The kitchen is well equipped with a good complement of appliances. The garden is a quiet haven with lots of flowers, herbs, and fruit trees. This place is a great find!"

"The property could do with a lot of trimming back of the mature trees to allow more sun in but I imagine in mid summer it’s very pleasant. Once the gardeners had cleaned up the section it looked a lot better. The house was very comfortable with a great shower and we lit the efficient fire on the particularly cold night."

"Our family had a most relaxing and enjoyable stay at the Ansarli Villa. The property and grounds were immaculate, and we had nothing to do except unpack and relax. The location was ideal, private, but reasonably close to amenities and services. Despite thinking we would spend some time exploring the local area, in the end we spent pretty much the whole time on the property as it had absolutely everything we could want there. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again if...

"The property was very comfortable and generally met our needs. The shower was a little cramped and shower head kept flipping down. We weren't able to tighten the fitting. The narrow drive and tight turning circle into carport necessitated backing in or out for larger vehicle."

"Nelson City Centre on the River is a splendid bach accommodation. There's lots of room for a large family or two families on holiday together. The bach is very comfortable, with all the amenities one would want to have in a holiday home. And the location is fabulous. The river walk is just outside the front door, and the city centre is a short walk away. We highly recommend this accommodation."
