"Online description was accurate overall. It does state that the pictures may not depict your actual room but it was similar. We booked a studio which was more than adequate for my husband and I. Location was great, very close to downtown. We arrived in the evening so it was dark, a little confusing to navigate at first not being familiar with the area. Very cute little “village”. "Pool and hot tubs lights were broken so it was not available for use and I was really looking forward to it. The outside of the building was very pretty with design accents that were beautiful. However the walls and floors were incredibly thin and we could literally hear everything from upstairs. Seems to me they spent money on the wrong things when it was built."

"A good photographer took pictures of this property. Inn NOT like the great photos. Room dirty. Towels stained. Gas fireplace with flame so low you could barely see it and should never be called a fireplace room. And deluxe king? Please. The property is full of weeds and unmowed. There are so many pretty places to stay all right there, getting this place was a complete mistake. It is old and stucco falling off the back of the building. Owner obviously doesn't care if anyone comes back. Dumpy in such a cute town."

"The photos on the Expedia are cherrypicked and quite deceptive. From the exterior, the building looks way worse than the photos reveal. Inside, the finishings and decor are quite dated, though the hallways to access the rooms and the rooms themselves are surprisingly clean. The entrances and stairwells aren't the cleanest. The building is old and settling. Hallway floorboards creak and lean this way and that. When you look up at the top of stairways, you can see the next level leaning this way or that. For now it's a decent, and cheaper place to stay, but without major renovation and repairs, it will get shutdown for safety reasons."

"The atmosphere here was perfect for a mountain town. The room was a bit outdated but very clean. However, the whole room was sloped pretty severly, and when showering it was overly apparent that its not level. Its in the perfect location for walking to everything! We thought it was odd that there was no staff on site but check in and out was easy. And the staff at Meadowbrook was vey helpful."
