"This is an outstanding property on the best beach in Mykonos. The staff is caring and makes sure your experience is top notch. You feel like a VIP. I’ve stayed at many hotels in Greece, several of which are part of the Grecotel family. This is by far the best in all respects. I recommend it without hesitation."

"Excellent hotel if you want a secluded location away from all the tourists and all the shopping. The main attractions are far from the hotel. The only issue we had was with the showers. They had a wet humid moldy smell when we opened the glass doors. Both were slowly draining and and when I called to have one of them looked at, the lady that came with a guy to look at it asked me "what would you like me to do?" At that point I knew nothing would be done, I would assume if I called to have the drain looked it, was because I don't like showering with dirty water on my feet, but that's just me. Other than that the place was clean, excellent location for a peaceful relaxing vacation away from all the noise of busy city. Special thank you to the manager and staff who tried to help us find flights to Santorini and Athens after our ferry was canceled due to weather conditions."

What is the best area to stay in Tinos Town?
The best area to stay in Tinos Town is the main town itself, also known as Chora, particularly near the harbour and the Panagia Evangelistria church. This central area is the heart of Tinos and offers the most convenience and activity. The main promenade along the harbour is lined with cafes and tavernas, and the streets leading up to the Panagia Evangelistria church are bustling with shops and small eateries. The layout is compact and walkable, making it easy to explore on foot.Couples looking for a blend of convenience and local flavour will find Chora ideal. You're within easy reach of the island's most revered pilgrimage site, the Panagia Evangelistria, and the charming backstreets offer plenty of opportunities for leisurely strolls and discovering traditional architecture. The evening atmosphere along the harbour is superb for a relaxed dinner.Families will also appreciate staying in Chora due to its accessibility. Everything you might need, from bakeries to pharmacies, is close by. Many accommodations are within walking distance of the main square and the harbour, which can be convenient for managing young children.
When is the best time to go to Tinos Town?
The best times to visit Tinos Town are during the shoulder seasons of May, early June, and September, when the weather is pleasant and the island is less crowded.May and early June offer warm, sunny days great for exploring the town and its surroundings without the intense heat and larger crowds of mid-summer. The sea is warming up, making it suitable for swimming, and the island's flora is at its most vibrant. These months are ideal for couples looking for a relaxed holiday with opportunities for hiking and enjoying local cuisine.September is another excellent choice, providing consistently warm temperatures and calm seas, which are great for beach days or boat trips. The summer crowds have thinned out, but all businesses and tavernas are still open.
Where can I find the best nightlife in Tinos Town?
Tinos Town offers a few distinct areas for evening entertainment. You'll find options ranging from relaxed drinks to livelier music venues. The waterfront promenade, particularly the stretch near the old port, is a good starting point. Here, you'll find numerous cafes and bars that transition from daytime coffee spots to evening drink establishments. Many offer outdoor seating with views of the harbour and serve cocktails and local wines. It's a nice area for a pre-dinner drink or a relaxed evening out.Venturing into the smaller streets and alleyways behind the main promenade, especially around Evangelistria Street, you'll discover more intimate bars. These often feature a more traditional Greek feel, with some hosting live Greek music in the evenings. They're generally quieter than the waterfront, offering a more local experience. For those looking for dancing or a more energetic crowd, there are a couple of music bars and small clubs located slightly further back from the port, often on side streets.
