"Spotlessly clean and well-maintained hotel, rooms spruced up every day and lovely, helpful friendly staff. The hotel did have a water problem one day meaning I couldn’t have a wash on my last morning and I’m never a fan of “double beds” that are two singles joined; it’s not a double and it’s not comfortable…other than that a very nice stay."

"We used the hotel for a one night stay plus breakfast and a meet point for a coffee with family before our journey home up north. Hotel was beautifully presented, easy to find and clean. As with most hotels that are not new, there were small picky bits around the hotel that a good housekeeper would pick up on… light bulbs out, chip on ceramic bath tub, one bath towel in double occupancy, light discoloured curtains. However, a pleasant stay, staff friendly and helpful, breakfast was excellent, beds were clean and fresh, coffee lounge/bar accommodating and with a modern feel. Great choice to stay. Would recommend 😊"

"I really like the staff here , everyone is so friendly . The food on the resteraunt is very good .The river views are lovely .This is an older hotel which is reflected in the rooms ; sound proofing is non existent a though no complaint about cleanliness at all ."

"This was a fun and unique place. The bed was super comfy, the breakfasts were made to order, hot, and tasty. This Inn is nearby to everything, and it is quiet considering it is on a busy thoroughfare. This is the place to stay if you're starting east on the South Downs Way. Also! Don't miss their Pub next door!!!"
