"Excelente hotel. It is not a 5 star luxury hotel but it meets all the requirements to have a pleasnt stay. Clean place. Good parking. We had a good experience. We were about to leave after checking out when we were approached by a house keeping staff. She mentioned that we forgot a makeup bag. The wife was amazed at the employees honesty. She is a good person it is not easy to have employees like that these days anymore. We would definitely stay again in the future. "

"We arrived in Mérida on Nov 24th for the wedding of my girlfriend’s cousin. We have been looking forward to this trip and had high hopes for our stay at Hacienda Viva Sotuta De Peon. Upon arrival we immediately knew we were going to be disappointed. The resort was lacking in cleanliness, safety, and organization. "The Pickled Onion is a real treat. It was the third time we stayed there and each time has been perfect. The property is absolutely beautiful. The pool and surrounding area is clean. The food is excellent, as is the service. The rooms are spacious, with a small refrigerator, air conditioning, ceiling fan and other amenities. The breakfast - served al fresco - is wonderful and included in the price of the room! The staff is helpful and attentive. Can't say enough about this place."
