The best area to stay in Thulay is the village centre, particularly around the Place de l'Église and along Rue Principale.

This area forms the heart of Thulay, offering a classic French village experience. You'll find charming stone buildings, a few local shops, and the historic church. It's very walkable, allowing you to easily explore the village on foot.

For couples seeking a relaxing and refined escape, staying right in the village centre is ideal. You'll be close to the local eateries and have easy access to picturesque walks through the surrounding countryside, perhaps to a nearby vineyard for a tasting.

Travellers interested in a quiet retreat with convenient access to the region's culinary delights will also appreciate this location.

The best time to visit Thulay is during the late spring and early autumn months, specifically from May to June and September to October.

These periods offer the most pleasant weather for exploring the region's vineyards and countryside. You'll find comfortable temperatures, ideal for outdoor activities like walking or cycling, without the intense heat of summer or the chill of winter. The natural beauty of Bourgogne is particularly striking during these months, with lush greenery in spring and the rich colours of the harvest in autumn.

For couples seeking a romantic getaway, these shoulder seasons provide a more tranquil experience. There are fewer crowds compared to the peak summer months, allowing for more intimate wine tastings and serene strolls through charming villages. Many local events and markets are also in full swing, offering a genuine taste of regional life.

Travellers interested in culinary experiences will appreciate the availability of seasonal produce and speciality dishes during these times.
