"The hosts are great! We actually had to move this trip back due to weather and it was a seamless transition with no additional fees even though the rates were higher for the new stay! This home is better than the pics show! Way better! Very clean! It has very comfy new mattresses, all the utensils and cookware you need, a great restaurant/tavern (Spirit View Lakeside) nearby, very easy access to the trail system. Close to Three Lakes, Eagle River and the Eagle River Chain of Lakes system.We stayed in wintertime, but the back porch is huge and it's a short easy walk down to the dock.A very great value and more of a modern type home than the older cabins, and tucked away nicely in the woods. Has a nice circle driveway to turn around in if you have a trailer! It is close to a small airport, but it would be fun to see some planes land with the kids grandkids.Will definitely rebook there in the summertime!"

"Beautiful serene setting. Nestled up on a hill with many trees. Fully equipped kitchen made meals a breeze. Enjoyed being right on the lake. It is a very clean chain of lakes. Caught a few fish and enjoyed water sports. There are 65 steps down to rhe lake so you get your workout on them! But the views are stunning and the eagles and loons were fun to watch."

"We had a great stay at the cabin! It was a bit hot but the lakes took care of cooling us down! The cabin was GREAT! Neat and tidy!! We were able to park a small pontoon at the end of the doc! The property is more than well taken care of!HIGHLY Recommended!!"

"B Our first issue came up when we inquired about the length of the dock regarding the pontoon, we were renting plus the fishing boat we would be bringing up. We were first told there were 2 docks. Only 1 appeared in the photos. After questioning Hiller on this, they did some checking and said that they considered 2 sides of 1 dock as 2. When we arrived, there was a boat hoist with a pontoon on one side of the dock. It was the owners. Hiller never notified us of this and the owner refused to remove their pontoon, so said Dick the Hiller representative. The very accommodating employee at the Stone Harbor Marina, where we rented the pontoon from, helped us with this dock situation. Thanks again Shawn for your professional and courteous help. It became quite obvious that Hiller does not regularly inspect the properties they rent. Heating and air conditioning – The thermostat was set mostly for heat as it was fairly cold while we were there. We would set it to a comfortable temperature and a little while later the thermostat was automatically set at a lower temp. Hiller did send out a repair service man to look at the thermostat the first evening we were there. The steps down to the dock were not in good condition, some boards rotting, some steps covered with gravel that had washed down. And the railing was very wobbly in places.
