"The check in process was relatively easy it’s walking distance from the pier about 500 meters the room was clean the aircon was cold there is free tea and coffee available in the foyer a kettle in the room would be more convenient but I was happy with my stay here "

"We had a big and beautifull room with a big and comfy bed. The bathroom was also spacious with a big enclosed shower, great for not showeing the hole bathroom and everything in it while taking a shower.
Our room was on the 3 floor so we had a nice view over the pool with palm trees.
We did not use the pool that much. It is a tiny pool with only 4 sunbeds so you have to be early to get a spot. But its only 10 min walking to the beach.

"This property was very unique, and had a very cool Eco vibe to it. It was located on the beach and the rooms were quite spacious and very comfortable. The only downside to this property is that there's nothing else really around it. You would have to take a taxi to get into town to access other restaurants. This didn't really matter too much though, as you can eat at one or two restaurants at the hotel."

"I only gave 3 stars because they discounted my stay due to their error. I booked a private 2 bedroom suite with private pool and they put me in a garden suite.... thank God I was traveling solo only for 1 night and not a week+ with my wife. It would have ruined the entire trip flying 20 hours from Canada for this experience, and that would have been a total failure. Still a severe let down for me personally and my travel partner. Everybody was so friendly and professional Ken the manager was amazing very great guy Ammy was very friendly and a very hard worker Pat or Patricia cooked the most wonderful eggs I’ve ever had in any restaurant anywhere in the world. "We had the most wonderful stay. The rooms were beautifully appointed and maintained. The food was fantastic and the kitchen was very accommodating of my dietary needs. What really made our stay though was the staff. Everyone made us feel so welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. They were so patient and kind with our son.
I took off one star for location as the beach at this end isn’t quite as lovely as down the other end. It can be a little weedy and muddy at low tide as it’s in an inlet. We didn’t really swim at it. That said, I would happily stay at the Sala again. The pools, staff and food more than make up for it. It’s lovely and quiet compared to the other end of Chaweng Beach while still being walking distance to Central Samui."
