"Well designed and comfortable indoors and out. The back lawn was huge! It felt very private with all of the trees and foliage. We enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor shower. Kitchen was fully equipped. Location was convenient to town and to the redwoods. "
"This cottage had everything we needed as a family of four! My son (12) loves to fish and we bought a 30 pole from Walmart... he spent every night fishing the creek behind the cabin. He caught trout back there which was exciting because we are from the midwest. We were also visiting to hike in the redwoods and Fern Canyon. Both were incredible and a short drive. We would absolutely stay here again... in fact this was our favorite place to stay of the entire trip. "

"This property was perfect for our family, including our 17 year-old daughter. We loved the hot tub and really appreciated the laundry facilities. The view of the ocean is amazing and we kept the windows open at night. Great communication. They told us ahead of time that the oven was not working (not an issue!) We used the grill a few times. They told us ahead of time that they were coming by to pick up the trash. Only a couple of very minor things that were not provided that a future renter will want to bring themselves: body lotion and dryer sheets. Other than that, perfection! "

"Really enjoyed staying in this former chapel, the former St Thomas church AFAIK. Neat and tidy, well appointed and provisioned. We chose to sleep on the murphy bed. Great place to stay if you're visiting Redwoods State and National Parks. We saw a herd of Elk at the Orick elementary school yard during calving season - it was magical."
