"Lower budget hotel, price made us nervous but we were pleasantly surprised. Room was clean, bathroom looked remodeled fairly recently. This was a great hotel for just a stop over on a 22 hour drive from Montana to California. Nothing fancy, but it was quiet and clean and you can’t beat the price. Small continental breakfast. Staff was helpful and gave us tips to avoid the speed traps."

"It's tough when your boss has a medical emergency and leaves you in charge as one of two staff members of a Motel for 4 days. But I met a woman of incredible determination, commitment and not a little exhaustion who was doing this at the Thunderbird Hotel in Elko. The rooms were clean, nothing was broken, breakfast was set out on time and there was free wi-fi and both a working mini-fridge and a microwave. The Pool was under repair , but it hadn't advertised as a hotel with a pool so no problem there. The AC /heater worked splendidly and I had a decent night's sleep. When one is just traveling cross-country this is about as perfect as it gets and I was very satisfied."
