"Le soucis n’est pas la chambre, c’est la publicité mensongère. Je venais pour mon anniversaire de mariage en pensant profiter du spa, sauf que le spa n’est pas du coup inclus dans le tarif de la chambre (sur votre site ce n’est écrit nul part!) on demande comment faire pour y aller quand même et là on nous dit que tout est déjà réservé. Personne ne nous a prévenu. Il y a une piscine extérieur couverte, on demande donc si on peut y aller, on nous dit que non car elle n’est pas chauffée… payer...

"I had a brilliant stay at this hotel and would definitely return. The breakfast was excellent – perfectly cooked eggs and bacon, a great variety of fresh breads and rolls, and loads of pastries to enjoy. I stayed in one of the large farmhouse rooms just across the road from the main hotel (check-in is over there). "Being in a castle is unique by itself. First impressions were not as expected, fake flowers everywhere, a bar with a kitschy look, a spa with no pool, an outdoor area like a beer garden, it felt a bit like in an amusement park. Bathroom with a bathtub, difficult to step into and very slippery, lots of stairs to climb. In short difficult for handicapped., the advertised nearby fruit farms, vineyards and famous church sculpture is far away, you can’t get there but by car or bike. But the suite was gorgeous, decorated with fake antiques and spacious. Toiletries were excellent as were towels and linens. The best though is the food. We had an excellent dinner in Aurum and also in the bistro. The breakfast buffet was incredible, Prosecco was not included as it is normally in other Hotels. Prices were high for food and lodging. Breakfast 40 Euros per person. But it was a nice experience. Christian, the gentleman who helps with suitcases is extremely helpful and nice"

"The kitchen had no salt and had pepper! Only two cups of coffee to use No body lotion The light next to the bed was loose The toilet paper holder was loose The toiles was smelling a bid told them but in the morning it was gone. Staff was good and friendly . Very quiet."

"MOTORCYCLE TOUR Enjoyed my stay for the following reasons: Secure outdoor parking for our motorcycles behind a big iron, 24hr locked gate. Very comfortable room with air conditioning. Comfortable bed. UK news channels on the TV. Hot shower and lift to the upper floors. What I thought was OK; Breakfast, easy 15 min walk to the historic town for restaurants and bars, quiet safe area. Problems: I had to return 5 times to reception because my room key didn't always open my room door; but my friends room was fine. Beer..... I'm a big fan of Belgium beer but ..... I ordered a beer from the pump and it tasted awful, sour and had a sharp taste; the receptionist put on a new barrel and I believe there may have been pipe cleaner in the system. I complained, and I couldn't drink it but didn't get a refund as the barman said he didn't drink beer so couldn't comment - it also had small particles floating in it. I had the same beer in town and it tasted completely different - very disappointing"

"We were actually moved to the sister hoter Chateau de la fooz as the other hotel was closed. This was no issue for us. This was fine but there was no one to greet us at check in despite ringing the bell. We found a card with a list of booking with our name and checked ourselves in. The restaurant is closed on mondays and tuesdays but we got a recomendation of a restaurant about 10 minutes away which was great and we appreciated this. The room was very recently renovated and very lovely - a couple of things to mention. 1. no towel rail by sink for hand towel 2. no garbage can in room (only in bathroom) 3. no mirror in room The place is just gorgeous and the owner was very nice and gave us a complimentary glass of bubbles and a little about the history of this former convent. The complimentary breakfast was very good with a great selection HIghly recommend!!"
