4. Zoo Berlin

Berlin Zoo, or Zoologischer Garten in German, can be found inside the beautiful Tiergarten park. It covers 340,000 square metres and has almost 18,000 animals from 1,500 species. It opened in 1844, and was nearly destroyed in World War II. Now it is considered to be one of Europe’s finest zoological gardens, and has even been the home to some famous celebrities.
