The Modernist Thessaloniki hotel is an exceptional blend of luxury, comfort, and contemporary design, perfectly nestled in the vibrant heart of Thessaloniki. My recent stay here exceeded all expectations, making it an unforgettable experience. From the moment you step into The Modernist, you are greeted with an atmosphere of modern elegance. The hotel’s aesthetic is a masterful combination of sleek lines, minimalist décor, and warm, inviting tones. The attention to detail is evident in every corner, from the chic lobby to the artfully decorated rooms. The rooms are a testament to thoughtful design and functionality. Spacious and well-lit, they offer a perfect balance of comfort and style. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep, and the high-quality linens added an extra touch of luxury. The room amenities, including the Nespresso machine and the Bluetooth speaker, made my stay even more enjoyable. The bathroom was equally impressive, featuring modern fixtures and a refreshing rain shower. The staff at The Modernist Thessaloniki are exceptional. From the friendly receptionists to the attentive housekeeping team, everyone goes above and beyond to ensure guests feel welcome and well taken care of. Their warm hospitality and willingness to assist with any request made my stay particularly pleasant.

Location is wonderful! The hotel is lovely. Clean, quiet and the staff is so friendly and helpful I was sad to leave the city!

If I could give 10 stars I would. From the moment you walk into this hotel and are greeted by friendly people who know you by name to every time you leave/return they say goodbye or hello. And again they address you by name. Always with a smile and a friendly attitude. All of the staff were like this. The rooms are smaller, but well appointed with everything you need. Including an in-room, mini bar, Nespresso machine, slippers, and fine linens. It was also equipped with music with a specially curated playlist. Our double room had two baths and two balconies. One overlooking the busy street (fun to people watch) and the other for a quiet relaxing morning coffee or evening cocktail. The complimentary breakfast on the rooftop was amazing and a pleasant surprise. The location is perfect. Just a short walk away from Aristotle square and all of the shops, dining bars and entertainment. Getting back to the staff, I cannot express how accommodating and friendly they are.

The images Expedia displayed were completely different from the room the hotel gave. The room was cramped with no doors for the bathroom and vanity. Expedia refused to help once I reported it to them.

We wish we stayed longer the room, property and amenities were wonderful. The staff in particular was incredibly helpful with suggestions and anything we may need. The homemade breakfast spread was unbelievable! We loved it all and hope to be back.

Very comfortable room, nice mattress, good lighting. Excellent shower. Staff was so helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a highlight each morning, with a wide range of fresh, homemade choices and cooked to order eggs. I left early for the airport my last morning, and they had an amazing to-go breakfast for me at the desk. Would definitely stay again.

Wished we were staying longer...
Sadly we were only staying in Thessaloniki for one night, The Modernist is more than worthy of a longer visit. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable. The breakfast on the roof terrace was wonderful!

Great hotel!
Great hotel. Staff were exceptional. Super clean. I am not sure that I would say this one was a five star per se because it lacked the amenities like others in the area. However, great spot, great rooms and super if you are on the go!

Mary Poppins Hotel....practically perfect...
Stayed 5 days and wanted to stay more. Nothing was too much trouble and all staff were friendly. Breakfast to put many 5 star hotels to shame and toiltries were first class.

Excellent. Brilliantly central location, lovely room (compact, but had everything we needed (except a kettle). Staff were utterly brilliant nothing was to much effort, fantastic recommendations, really caring and interested in our happiness. Breakfast was out of this world, so much choice, good quality, & really tasty.

The location was near everything we wanted to see. The staff were delightful. The room was clean and comfortable. The choice of bed pillows was perfect. Breakfast was amazing. Zero complaints. All was excellent!

Our stay at The Modernist was excellent. Free water in reusable glass bottles was a great touch. Rooms minimalist and spacious (we had a medium room).Every single staff member was friendly and helpful, giving us restaurant recommendations and booking is a taxi up to the old town. Breakfast on the roof terrace was wonderful. 100% recommended.
