The previous time we stayed was perfect but will ensure I ask for a non basement room next time. Staff at this hotel are lovely, the rooms are of a good standard and value for money but my advice is steer clear of the basement"

"No plug in the sink. No house phone. No support (other than a hot towel rail) to get out of the shower/bath. Room lighting inadequate. Insufficient milk for morning tea/coffee (in all fairness you are not alone with this deficiency). Inadequate explanation when booking as to whether it is BandB or just Bed. If the car park is full (nowhere near enough if all rooms are taken) you have to walk back to the main building car park. Bedroom cold."
