"The spacious yard was awesome, very quiet and had an amazing view of the night sky. We had a fire in the fire ring. The bbq grill was nice. We grilled some steaks for dinner. Groceries within 10 minutes. Not many dining options right in the area. Our stay was the last night of a ten day trip and it was a perfect ending."

"The house was simply amazing! Loved the layout, the roominess, and especially loved the decor! The views from the main house were spectacular! Everything was provided for in the main house from towels, throw blankets, games, to coffee pods and laundry detergent. Evevry essential was there. The boat house is truly rustic. But also well equipped with everything thought of for an enjoyable stay. The neighborhood is very low key. We were able to ride our bikes there without problem. We had three cars and had plenty of space. I would absolutely rent this property again! "

"This place is absolutely amazing! You are literally in the middle of a cornfield — secluded, peaceful, and so quiet. The house itself is spotless and meticulously cared for. Every detail — from the woodwork, counters, trim, and cabinets — was thoughtfully designed, and it shows the moment you walk in.One of our favorite parts was sitting out on the patio by the fire table! This was the most relaxing getaway I could have ever asked for. The location is perfect too: just a 25-minute drive to Watkins Glen, with easy access to Buttermilk Falls, Ithaca, Seneca Lake, and Cayuga Lake. We loved exploring the waterfalls, the lakes, the scenic farms, and all the little fruit and vegetable stands along the way.You must go to Oak Hill Bulk Foods — not once, but multiple times! There was not a single thing we bought that wasn’t amazing, and the prices are fabulous. We actually stocked up on food and even brought some home with us. Having it right next door is such a treat.This was our 29-year anniversary trip, and there was nothing about it that was bad — especially the house. When I was searching, I was comparing regular hotels that cost the same as this entire place, and honestly, there’s no comparison. This house is an incredible value, and the experience is on a completely different level.Highly, highly recommend!"

"The location was fabulous!! We rented and enjoyed a pontoon boat for the week and docked it across from the house. We all swam in the lake - right there! Weather was superb, wineries are great. Penn Yan has a cute little main street with a good coffee shop. The house had lots of room for the family to gather as well as get private space. We would absolutely rent this property again. "
