"Location is amazing! Easy and free parking, very walkable to lots of fun dining…really it was close to everything..marina, venice, Santa Monica, and a quick ride to LAX. It is an older property with a lot of let’s call it “charm”. If you are expecting new and glitzy, it is not for you..it is clean, decently maintained for its age, they have a staffed front desk, and a cute little coffee/tea station. No elevator but only 2 floors, walks out onto Mother’s beach which was fun for paddle boarding (rentals less than 500 ft away) which was fun checking out a few of the native sea lions."

"We were put in the handicap room so it was very spacious and roomy. My only complaint is that there was only one sink in the bathroom and the counter space in the bathroom was very small. There wasn't enough room for two people to place there toiletries on the counter. There was only one mirror in the entire room which was in the bathroom. It would be nice if there was also a mirror in the room so that if one person is using the bathroom, another person can put on their makeup and use the mirror in the room. There was also only one towel rack. It would be nice if there was another one or some hooks to hang towels or our travel makeup bags since there was very limited counter space."

"Small boutique hotel a couple blocks from beach. Very good location for access to food / drink / supplies / bikes. Quirky mid-century mod vibe. Not everyone’s taste. Clean room, comfortable bedding, all expected amenities. Would come back. BTW - Venice Beach is such a cool mini-trip. Two full days on the ground is all you need to work on your tan while walking the boardwalk to Santa Monica Pier / SO MUCH going on!"

"This hotel was a pleasant surprise for the room decor, in room amenities, etc. But the negatives were the overpriced parking costs and also the location. The vagrants, homeless, drug addicts all around the entrance, alley ways, public areas in front of the hotel were disgusting. They even keep the main door locked cause of all the issues. Venice beach in general is disgusting. They really need to clean up that area to be charging those kind of prices."

"The family suite was nice and clean. Good sized room. Only thing that was weird there was two tvs and you had to turn on the one in living/kitchen to turn on bedroom. A little noisily in morning back alley way wirh trash truck. The restroom was a little small and the shower curtain needs to be changed the staff and cleaning ladies were nice and helpful. It is on a busy street mcdonalds next door. Close to things main street and to the beach."
