"I never stayed at this hotel, but I was charged for the night. I contacted them immediately upon receiving the confirmation after a transaction was unexpectedly completed due to bad cell service. The confirmation email also says this hotel does not have air conditioning. They refused a refund, and I paid hundreds of dollars to NOT stay in this hotel."

"basic place. nothing terrible but nothing memorable either. we had front room, substantial but not intolerable street noise. what got to me was a very simple request: can you provide a stopper for the tub? could not be fulfilled. offered room switch but we were already unpacked, so a real hassle. Not even an offer to run out and buy a stopper at a local hardware store. Lack of creativity, initiative, and customer service."

"We had a great time at this modern, art deco hotel right on the Venice Beach/boardwalk. The room was clean and the staff were knowledgeable. There was valet parking for $55 per night plus tax. The hotel was pretty quiet except we could hear people walking around on top of us and it sounded like they were moving furniture. I don’t know if that’s just because we were on the first floor? But we did get to go up to the roof and have a lovely coffee overlooking the ocean."

"The location of this hotel is superb, just facing the ocean and the beach. The room was very nice, clean, and with a good size. The room in which I was had a very nice view of the beach. The only thing I noticed was the unusual late checking of 4 PM, which most hotels waive as rooms become available, but not this hotel. It was really inconvenient for me, but to be fair, it was disclosed as part of the booking, so I patiently waited. Otherwise, this is a very nice hotel to consider."
