The Grove Resort & Water Park Orlando

6/10 Okay

"The room was very clean and spacious. Loved having the full kitchen. The rooms were very clean and they were definitely trying to keep the hallways looking nice. The resort is huge and everything is very confusing so be ready to walk a lot. The “waterpark” was ok. Not sure I would call it a waterpark but the kids enjoyed it. The arcade looked awesome until we got over $100 in game cards and every game seemed a little rigged in the hotels favors which can be very disappointing for a child. I would save your money and go to Dave and Busters or something. We did not eat at the hotel so we can’t speak on that. I will say that the location seemed very far from everything we did 30mins or more. Employees were friendly. I would not say I would not stay there again but I would definitely check how far away it is from the things we want to do next time. We did get Free Parking and resort fees by booking through the ExpeidaVIP so that was nice. I think it would be great for families if you plan to stay around the resort. I’m sure there is a lot they offer that we did not take advantage of."

"The front desk staff is absolutely amazing. When we were about to check in a front desk staff by Anil helped us get a free upgrade. I had originally booked a Jr Suite in Sorrento tower partial view of ocean and Anil upgraded us to full ocean view suite. Overall staff is great, property is extremely clean My only issue was with the wristbands system during weekends. Instead of keeping these wristbands handy by the pool entrances to make it convenient for hotel guests they make you go all the way to front desk to get these wristbands which is so inconvenient. Secondly you have to preserve these wristbands (which no one told us) and if you lose it and want to access the pool is 50$ per person but the front desk staff was very accommodating and waived us the fee but I would appreciate if this information is told beforehand to guests that they need to preserve their wristbands Overall we had an excellent stay here and they private beach access is so convenient and the beach staff is great too. We will come back here next time we’re in Miami"
