"Nice clean hotel. Main public areas and hallways have been updated, on site restaurant was lovely as well. Our room was older, clean ,but older. Showed signs of wear,( paint chipped, cleaner stain in bathroom by sink) but overall nothing of concern, esp since it was 1/2 the price of staying closer to the airport. Breakfast buffet was great as well. Staff was super friendly and helpful also. Great option to stay at. Recommended"

"The home is lovely and well appointed. Some of our guests would have liked drapes as the morning sun is bright.As we were there in the winter it would have been nice if the heat had been turned on prior to our arrival. And this would have made the homeowner aware of the heat not working in the lower wing. We tried without success.There was no dry wood available for the fireplace which would have been nice to have readily available.We also had a windstorm which pointed out that the French doors in the Master Suite (lower) were unlatched and we needed help getting them latched as it was an unusual method.All in all, we had fun. It was supposed to be a lazy vacation and would come again. The homeowner could step it up if the winter season is something he is serious about pursuing.A "house-book" available on the island may have been of assistance instead of contacting the owner or looking through every door/drawer.In the end he made it right, and we are all adults with a sense of humour and no harm was done."
