"The beds, room and kitchen were clean and comfortable. The management here has clearly made an effort to make guests comfortable. Amenities that one would expect at a 4- or 5-star motel, like new towels, toiletries like shampoo and conditioner, coffee and coffee maker, campfire and firewood, iron, and more are here. Like many Catskill inns, the Starlite is showing its age after decades of use and generations of tourists. It badly needs a reno. There is still a market for a 2-star strip motel...

"Our night at CML was great. The kids loved playing in the pool, swinging on the swing and taking a walk to the swimming hole behind the property. The movie on the lawn at the end of the evening was definitely a bonus. The property is old lodge feel but the new owners (super friendly & welcoming) are making updates along the way.
