Beautiful old building with plenty of charm. No frills but it did have a small fridge and nicely updated bathroom. Wish I could have stayed another day, very cool place.

Comfortable hotel
Building and entrance/lobby area look great but the floors where the actual rooms are look dated with very dirty carpet - quite a stark contrast. The room itself was clean and spacious but is no tea/coffee making facilities available. Breakfast was ok but rather basic

Our family loved it
Great little place! Booked it for our family when they came to visit. The temperature of the air conditioning is controlled by the front desk, so if it's not cold enough, just call and ask them to adjust it.

Night staff cant speak English
Had trouble getting the room. I reached at 10pm and the front desk guy didnt know English. I had a hard time telling him I have a reservation and entering the front lobby of hotel. I had to get help of another hotel patron to communicate with him. Eventually I had to pay for the room even though I had already paid in full through hotels.com. Took me a good 20mins to enter the room. Anyway room was good. Next morning, the front desk lady told me that they cancelled the additional charge. Hotel is ok but you may face trouble if you come in late since the night staff may not be able to speak English.

Good Hotel - but not near Paderborn Main Station
Very friendly receptionist and lovely Hotel, but we had expected that the Hotel is situated (as mentioned in the web site of Hotel.com) only 5 min walking distance from the train station and we had to experience that the Hotel was 25 walking minutes away. We were forced with our luggage to take a taxi both times - arriving and leaving the Hotel which we wanted to avoid.

Pleasant hotel close to the town centre.
The hotel was exceptionally clean, the staff were polite and attentive. The breakfast buffet was a pleasant surprise with plenty of choice for all. The food was appetising and there was tea, coffee and fruit juice on offer throughout the meal. Overall, a very pleasant stay and if I'm ever in Paderborn again I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Excellent hotel, staff were very friendly and extremely helpful.room was comfortable and clean,only complaint it said room contained coffee & tea facility but none in room when we arrived although when we questioned this one was provided straight away.Great breakfast and good central location, would definately recommend.

Love the city of Paderborn and love this hotel
The young people who worked at the hotel were fabulous. They did everything, worked the front desk, bar tended, cleaning staff, breakfast staff. Just great!The rooms were so comfortable , quiet, and close to old town and great shopping

A little gem in the heart of a pretty town
Chosen because of its location and to suit a limited budget, we weren't expecting such a nice experience. Wonderful staff, gorgeous food, a very high standard of cleanliness and décor, complimentary parking round the corner. Its proximity to the Hard Rock bar next door had no adverse impact. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent hotel - deserves more than 3 stars
My wife and I wanted a short stay (2 nights) in Paderborn and found this hotel through Expedia. It is superbly located, close to a car park and within easy walking distance of the centre of the city. The hotel is relatively small but has exceedingly high standards. The staff were all extremely helpful, and fully conversant in English, which helped due to my school-boy level of foreign languages. The room was spacious and had everything that one would expect in a 4 or 5 star hotel; it is surprising that this hotel does not have a higher rating. The bed, comprising 2 large divans close together, was very comfortable. Overall, we were thoroughly impressed with the hotel and would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending it to family and friends.

Excellent value, perfect for a cultural visit
The room was extremely pleasant, attractive, and clean. The bathroom was very clean and attractive, a good size, with space for personal toiletries (soap and shampoo only provided as a universal gel in pump bottles; probably a good idea to bring your own) and a very good shower that wasn't complicated to use. My only suggestions for improvement would be different bed linen (the sheet was like rough terrycloth and not pleasant to sleep on) and a bigger, plumper pillow (or even two pillows). Light sleepers should bring an eye mask (the light from the phone is rather bright) and earplugs (noise from occasional traffic on the street below, although not really noisy and certainly not loud, can disturb sleep). A great location for visiting the cathedral area, museums and shopping. Staff were very pleasant, helpful; breakfast was excellent, with freshly cooked eggs offered as well as lots of sausages, fruit, juices, yogurts, cheeses, lovely bread.

Nice Hotel
I enjoyed staying at this hotel. It was a charming property and the service was excellent. Great breakfast buffet and the internet service worked really well. Conveniently located near the city center, though almost a 25 minute walk to the main railway station. Room was comfortable and clean. Our room faced the street and the beer garden so it was a little noisy since you could overhear the conversations of the guests at the beer garden and of course traffic.

Hotel Stadthaus.Centre of Paderborn, Germany.
The hotel was very clean, well kept and looked freshly decorated. The room was a generous size, with all facillities as described in the hotel information. The staff were approachable, pleasant and well spoken. Had small problem with booking in, but this was not the problem of the hotel but the booking agent. The staff bent over backwards to help us out. The double room was comfortable and the breakfast was exceptional. The only drawback at the time of our stay was the road works at the front of the building, as this was very loud early in the morning. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, and would stay there, if in Paderborn again.

Hotel Stadthaus - a great place to stay
We found this hotel very well located for Paderborn central city. Our room was very well appointed. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely choose to stay there again.

Hotel Stadhaus-quiet, friendly & great location
This hotel is on a quiet street but just a few blocks from the center of the old city and the Dom. Staff was extremely accommodating. Breakfast was good. We did not eat other meals in the dining room as many other restaurants are in the immediate area.

Es tut uns leid, dass aufgrund der Herbstlibori und dem verkaufsoffenen Sonntag nicht ausreichend Parkplätze auf dem öffentlichen Parkplatz vorhanden waren.Die Kaffeemaschine hatte leider während des Aufenthalts einen Defekt, da diese am Sonntag nicht repariert werden konnte.

Ausgewählt habe ich das Hotel, da es für meine Anforderungen zentral gelegen ist. Gefallen hat mir das ordentliche gut ausgestattete Zimmer. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das sehr freundliche Personal. Wenn nicht gerade Volksfest ist (wie es bei meinem Besuch der Fall war) gibt es in der Nähe auch genügend Parkmöglichkeiten.

Séjour parfait
Hôtel de taille moyenne très agréable. Bien situé par rapport au centre ville, même la gare centrale est joignable à pied. Chambre confortable, bonne literie, bons points lumineux. Sdb avec 2 lavabos. Très calme donnant sur l'arrière. 2 salles de petit dej. déco arty récemment renovées très agréables. Bon buffet petit déj. La machine café/thé/chocolat reste accessible toute la journée. Personnel souriant donnant de bons renseignements. J'y retournerai sans hesitation.
