"We had a great 3 night stay in Borgo Marino Plemmirio! Nice rooms with airconditioning and decent kitchen. The swimming pool is very nice with see views and even the Etna in the background!
Very close to this somewhat isolated location is a fantastic little beach (Spiaggia Massolivieri). It is the nicest beach we have been to in Italy!
Also the old town of Syracusa is a must-go-to."
"This resort is quiet - just a short drive from the hustle of Siracusa. Do yourself a favour and enjoy the amenities a good resort offers and tomorrow head back to the crowds !"
"We chose to stay at this hotel because it was just outside of town and had a pool. The ground of the hotel are beautiful, and the pool was perfect in the extreme heat. My only issue was the location. It is a 15 minute drive to the center of Siracusa, and if you don't have a car, you are forced to pay 30 euros each way. There is no public transportation, and it is very difficult to get to any of the nearby beaches on foot."
"We enjoyed our staying at B&B Le Saline. Stefano is a wonderful and attentive host who uses his artistic talent to make your staying confortabile and appetizing. With his breakfast, one begins the day with Sicilian flavors and creativity!
The location is great because is just about 10 min by car from Ortigia, and is in a quiet and safe neighborhood. "
"In all our travels we rarely come across a place which delivers on what we want most. Exceptional hospitality, quality of the room and common area, knowledgeable and courteous staff who has already anticipated the needs of a discriminating traveler. "
"It was a very nice location. Property had anti-noise windows so it was quiet inside despite is in a main area.
Room is big enough to feel confortable, nice bathroom. Balcony.

10/10 Excellent
"The host was very helpful and super respectful. He showed us an amazing food spot in Ortega. The house was lovely the pool was the perfect temperature and the space was just very relaxing. Most definitely will booking through him again."
"The resort is set in magnificent grounds , surrounded by farmland.
It has a beautiful swimming pool and easy access to the beach ( which is pebbles—-but beautiful sand and water once you wade out)"
Sicilian farmhouse from the 19th Century - close to the beach and with a large pool
10/10 Excellent
"The property is set in a lovely and peaceful location, very spacious, clean and well maintained. Lovely seating area outside under the bougainvillea and jasmine, overlooking the mountains and sea. There were an additional 3 seating areas inside. Small but well equipped kitchen. Great little utility room with washing machine, additional toilet and shower. Good main bathroom, decent pressure for the shower and large vanity unit. Large bedrooms, both very comfortable. The restaurants recommended were brilliant, not too far to walk unless you have mobility issues. A car is needed for journeys to syracuse and other parts of the island, but it was worthwhile to stay somewhere quieter and as beautiful as this. The pool area looked amazing, although we didn’t use it, as we prefer the sea. There are some great beaches close by, the best being Minaret beach, which would be fantastic for snorkeling. The property is ideal for families, or older groups alike. We met a number of people working at the property, absolutely wonderful people. Communication was great and they couldn’t do enough to help. We would absolutely stay here again for a wonderful and relaxing break. "
Beautiful detached house with private pool near the sea.
4/10 Poor
"The property is very pretty, and spacious, but there is a maintenance issue to the property. The fuse board or electricals need ungrading, it keeps tripping when using more than one appliance which makes stay not at easy as the property is marketed up to six people. They hardly any plug. The lower ground appartment toilet was not very clean, the hairdryer did not work and no plugs at all, funnly enough there were 2 bedside table with lamps only for the photo since there are not actual sockets to plug in.Dissapointed in the fact that having reported those issues daily we were fully charged for electricity. It is also worth mentioning, the owner of the property showing up daily without notice for maintenance purposes, but when requested the pool to be cleaned it was hardly done. It is such a great place but needs addressing,.Thank you"
