"Just a one night stop over with spa access, what a treat. Nice big rooms, nice staff and the spa is an added experience. Would highly recommend this hotel. My only advice if your male and not used to the French customs you cannot wear swimming shorts with pockets in the pool / spa area. We had to buy some thin Nilon material swimming shorts what they sell onsite, we just went up 2 sizes so they looked like shorts and not skin tight (or you can wear speedos if you want) "

"Great stay all round. The staff was very helpful and happy to speak English, after we initially tried to converse in some (very poor) French. They pointed out the things to do and places to see. The only slight concern was that the night receptionist did not know they had synthetic pillows (as one of us is asthmatic and the existing feather pillows could have caused respiratory issues). However, after pointing it out in their handbook in the room, she quickly resolved it by finding two pillows for us to use. Very comfortable bed - had a good sleep! It was also beautiful to see the city in the glow of the morning sun. We didn’t have breakfast, but The Club was available for complementary snacks and drinks outside of breakfast hours. Thanks for a great stay!"

"Great location and overall a pleasant stay. The hotel is centrally located yet quiet, just a short walk from the Old Town and public transport. The room was spacious, very clean, and had a beautiful view of the Lyon theater. There is no elevator, and guests must climb a few flights of stairs to reach the lobby and rooms — something to keep in mind if you have mobility issues or heavy luggage. Although there is no air conditioning, a fan and portable cooling unit were provided and worked well. The receptionist, Marcia, was highly professional, kind, and always helpful — she truly added a positive touch to the experience. I mentioned in advance that I was visiting for my birthday, but there was no welcome note or birthday gesture, which would have been a nice touch. Still, the hotel offers great value for money, and I would consider staying again."

"We had a very nice stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location is excellent for many things to do in Lyon. I wouldn’t have known about this except for helpful reviews so I wanted to add another because it’s a much nicer place to stay than some of the large chain hotels in the area."

"Loved the Service at the hotel-as we were waiting for our taxi,the receptionist brought my wife and I a coffee. Loved the food at Bistro Bondy which is closed to the hotel"

"Great place to stay for both families and couples! Nicely located in the centre of town, walking distance to all the shopping and dining. Also the hotel lobby has free coffee machine that makes hot chocolate too. Free water and sparkling water as well as nicely brewed herbal tea. Love the friendly staff and don’t forget to try their breakfast option, it’s quite nice, everything is done just right, including the drinks. "
