My recent stay at Hotel Bajo el Ciruelo was nothing short of a disappointment, marred by a series of frustrating shortcomings that left me utterly dissatisfied and led to us booking another room elsewhere last minute. Firstly, the communication regarding early check-in was abysmal. Despite my explicit inquiry about the possibility of checking in early, the staff failed when we arrived said it wouldn’t be feasible and upon arrival, I was met with a curt dismissal and had to wait for hours, making it impossible to get ready for the wedding we were attending. Secondly, the lack of air conditioning in the room was unbearable. In the sweltering heat of the summer, a basic amenity like air conditioning should be a given, yet my room felt like a sauna. The windows had no screens, we were unable to open them without inviting a plague of mosquitos and other bugs that seemed to thrive in the stagnant air. Furthermore, the photos online were clearly a case of deceptive advertising. The ”honeymoon suite” looked worn-out and neglected, a stark contrast to the polished images that originally lured me to book a stay. The outdated furnishings and lack of maintenance were evident from the moment I stepped inside, including only one 5”x7” mirror in the whole place! Overall, my experience at Hotel Bajo el Ciruelo was a regrettable one and a waste of money since we did not stay for more than 1hr

La habitación es espaciosa como se muestra en las fotos y el baño es nuevo, eso está bien. Pero se siente húmedo y encerrado (y si huele un poco a humedad) lo que hace que se sienta el espacio caliente, porque además tiene poca ventilación. Hay dos puertas que podrían abrirse, pero no tienen mosquiteros y, como hay muchísimos mosquitos, entonces te limitas a querer enfriar un poco con un ventilador de pie, que no es suficiente. La cama es dura y con poca ropa de cama (solo tiene sábanas y 2 almohadas) daría una mejor impresión si las sábanas fuesen blancas y tuviera algún duvet que vistiera la cama. Por último, esta muy lejos del centro…. Y no hay nada comercial al rededor… Es un lugar quizá para ir en época de frío, disfrutar de sus hermosas plantas, y no planear bajar al centro más de 1 vez al día Lo que si quiero felicitar es a la compañía que tienen para comunicarse: COLIBRÍ TURQUESA. Súper amables y rápidos para contestar.
