"Fantastic, spotless, well-equipped property. The villa is in an ideal location to serve as a base for visiting the sights in Tuscany and beyond, or chilling out. The pool, while shared, was never busy. It's about a 15 minute walk up the hill to the bars and restaurants in Montecarlo. About 15 mins drive to the local supermarket in Pescia. Could not have been better - would love to return!"

"A wonderful week in Franco's villa. Lovely location - we did the walk up to Montecarlo most days to sample some of the local restaurants and coffee shops - and an easy drive into Altopascio for food shopping. The villa was well laid out for a group of 13 of us ranging from 9 to 49 and pretty well equipped including pool inflatables and sun loungers for the lovely infinity pool. Franco was very helpful and hospitable. Only slight criticisms are that the aircon on the top floor is not really strong enough to support the. 38 degree weather we had, plastic cups would be useful for the kids and around the pool (we picked some up at the supermarket) and an electric car charging point would be amazing as there appear to be a lot locally which don't work!All in all however, a great house and we all had a brilliant time. "

"We stayed for 40 days in this beautiful home. It fit our needs perfectly in that on rainy days it was a pleasure to just hang out at the house. Beds we great, bathrooms were very nice, kitchen was complete, and the outside was wonderful. We did not have a single complaint."
