Jimmy the concierge was amazing and very accommodating, the housekeeper did an excellent job, and having a security guard at night made us all that much more comfortable. "Our family LOVED staying at Villa Potrero. The house layout was perfect for our large family of 18. The house is updated and clean. The veranda was an ideal place to watch the sun rise and set or to just have morning coffee and listen to the ocean. Good location for walking to restaurants and the property is on a nice sandy beach. The pool and pool toys available to the kids was a hit. "The property was gorgeous! The rooms had comfortable beds and their own bathrooms which was great for our group of friends traveling together. Arturo was the house manager and was incredibly helpful well before our trip and throughout. He helped make recommendations and arrangements. The house had a fully stocked kitchen and two large refrigerators upstairs plus smaller kitchenettes downstairs (I believe two). The pool was perfect sized with plenty of outdoor seating and activities. The house is so nice that it was easy to want to stay there but there is a lot to explore in town, so I recommend getting out and about!"

"This villa is the full package!! From its location right on the beach to the attentive staff and amazingly helpful owners you won’t be disappointed! We utilized the chef services and both meals were outstanding! The maintenance, cleaning and security were very friendly and helpful, what a great team you get with this villa! We honestly can’t wait to come back!! Rent golf carts, visit Pura for breakfast and Gecko’s for lunch or dinner they are within walking distance of the villa! Take a ride on Rickdiculius if it is available during your stay, super fun time and an awesome crew come with it! "

"We had a total of 12 people staying at Casa Natalia and we loved it! The house is beautiful, clean and perfectly located for a stay in Potrero. The concierge, Jimmy is fantastic, helping to not only prepare for our trip but arranging last minute requests. The housekeeper was a nice bonus, making the house feel like a hotel with fresh towels, made beds, etc. and the night security guard was also a nice bonus, although we always felt safe. We enjoyed hanging out at the beach, everything you need is at the house with beach chairs, beach towels, umbrellas and wave boards. The pool is beautiful and great for lounging with the sun deck chairs! We are a music group and absolutely loved that the house had Bluetooth speakers setup throughout! From the amazing sunsets to watching monkeys from the street facing balcony, we had a great time - 10 out of 10! There is construction going on next door but it never bothered us and will be complete soon (I believe at the end of 2025). "

"Let me start by helping others avoid getting lost when finding this hotel/resort. When searching on Google, it directed us to a different location—but luckily, it was close to the actual hotel. Make sure to look for Villaggio Sueño al Mar, Flor de Pacifico #5 (the correct location). Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by security, who will direct you to the main office. I booked a villa for a family of four, which came with two bedrooms. The villa had a kitchenette, which made it more affordable to cook rather than eating out all the time. Housekeeping came by every other day to keep the place clean. Keep in mind, this place can be a bit loud—almost like staying in the rural areas of Costa Rica. You’ll hear birds chirping, iguanas running around the premises, cows nearby, and even howler monkeys. One of the best parts is its location: close to beaches, local restaurants called “sodas” in Costa Rica, and small markets. Just be warned—there are bugs, and they will make their way inside (ants and millipedes). Bring bug spray, because mosquitoes will find you. Aside from that, I truly enjoyed my stay at Sueño al Mar—from the friendly, helpful staff to the unique, almost jungle-like experience."
