Great place to stay with your family!

My adult children, my one year-old grandson, my 84-year-old mother, and my amazing husband were all able to attend my beautiful goddaughter’s wedding with me in California. My goddaughter‘s wedding party was staying in Temecula so my daughter-in-law found us this house on VRBO. What a wonderful place to stay with my family. Just make sure that you are awareif you want the pool heated, there is an additional cost.

Great wine country retreat

The house was very comfortable for a party of 7. Close to wineries, within walking distance. It was fully equipped in the kitchen. Pool and hot tub with a view of the wineries was amazing.

Spectacular views.

The House was located close to the places we wanted to visit. You almost didn’t need to leave the house if all you want to do is relax and not drive. There is so much to do at the house, swimming, ping pong, jacuzzi, billiards, board games, etc.

The home, the view, the extra touches throughout to make our stay enjoyable were all incredible. We were a party of 7 and everyone had plenty of space to retreat when needed! Wish we could have stayed longer!

Return Getaway

This was our second stay at Valencia Estates. Our family had another amazing time with my 96 year old mother who requested another vacay there. Every room was perfect, clean and comfortable. The kids had fun playing in the game room, swimming, walking, playing games and relaxing in the Great Room. Wine tasting was a great time too. The kitchen was perfect to cook all the meals for all of us and well equipped with everything we needed. We had fresh squeezed orange juice each morning from the delicious oranges in the orchards. The highlight for my mother was watching the hot air balloons early in the mornings and the picturesque sunset views we all gathered to watch each evening. We are all looking forward to next years summer stay. Stephanie was always available and so helpful to answer all my questions and concerns.

Beautiful property!

The pictures are very accurate! Beautiful home and scenery. Yes, there are mice, but it was quite a game with our mouse patrol and setting up mousetrapsl. (Mice could be better controlled with exterminators in to close up any openings, which we did. Directions to the stovetop would be helpful as we were unfamiliar with this type of stove. Main bedroom shower handle was broken and shower had low water pressure. Sauna light is broken. We replaced the lightbulb, but it still did not work. It was frustrating that there were no dish cloths--plenty of dish towels though! There is no access to walkers through the gate from the inside and we had to climb over the gate to walk on the road.The home is beautiful, sacious, and beds very comfortable! The hosts responded quickly to our emails. We had a delightful vacation!!

The absolute best place to stay in wine country!

Beautiful property and excellent location! Everything about our stay was so much greater than we had anticipated. The home and property were breathtaking. We loved the pool and huge backyard and spent the majority of our time out there. The view is to die for... especially at sunset! We even saw the hot air balloons in the mornings. Our entire group had the most amazing weekend and are already talking about coming back again. We loved every single detail about the house from the ample linens and towels, the info book, the garage full of games and pool toys, plenty of sleeping options, a kitchen that has literally everything you can think of… I honestly can not say enough great things about this place. Hands down the best rental I have ever stayed at! The host was very easy to contact and quick to answer any questions we had… they were so awesome and made our rental experience so easy! If you’re looking for a magical place to spend a weekend in wine country, then stay here- I promise you will not be disappointed!

Priceless family memories except........

The property was great! The panoramic views from the backyard and over the pool were impressive. We had a family gathering of 10 people and there was more than enough space for all. The sleeping accommodations were very comfortable. The amenities from the activities in the garage to the pool, sauna & spa were enjoyed by all. The only downside to our vacation came on our last day (10:00 AM checkout) when the gardeners showed up at 6:45 AM and to begin their work. They subsequently woke up at least 1/2 of us w/ their noise. On top of that their presence in the backyard by the pool and outdoor tables prohibited us from enjoying one last swim and breakfast before our departure. Unfortunately drove away w/ a slightly disappointing ending to an otherwise enjoyable experience and costing a STAR in the rating.

Family vacation

This property and its location is five stars. The rooms were large and bathrooms quite nice. The managaing agent Stephanie was awesome and very responsive. What prevented an overall 5 star rating are two items. First the sectional in the family room does not stay together and slides out of place easily. Would be nice to put rubberized pieces on the feet or attach the individual pieces. Secondly and most importantly you do not have control over the HVAC system. The owner does not allow the place to cool below 74 degrees. I have never stayed in a VRBO with that rule, nor did I restrict guests in this manner in the VRBO property I previously owned.

The perfect family getaway

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful house. It was all I needed it to be. My family enjoyed themselves. It had something for all ages. The gounds are amazing. The orange trees and hike in the orchard was the best part. Listening to my daughters laugh and my wife enjoyed herself. I couldn't have asked for a better and more relaxing time. THANK YOU!

Our family’s third time staying at Valencia Estates celebrating mom’s 97th birthday and we can’t wait for the fourth! This is the only place she asks to come back to celebrate each year. Highlights are the beautiful views, hanging out by the pool watching the gorgeous sunsets and watching the hot air balloons in the early mornings. Also, picking oranges and making fresh squeezed orange juice is a plus! Stephanie is an excellent and accommodating hostess. Thank you for another memorable stay!

Father’s Day Vaca

4 adult children plus spouses and grandchildren. Had a great time in the pool and jacuzzi. House was spotless and had everything needed for a vacation.

Spectacular view and great family property

For our family with children under 15, it was a perfect choice. Massive rooms. Plenty of bathrooms. The hot tub and spa were great. The views from the house and patio are magnificent. It has a well-worn feel that for us was perfect since we have children. You can really have a nice time in this house.

The house is in a beautiful location. Oranges made best juice. House needs updating and little TLC. Master toilet runs after flushing. And pots and pans need to be replaced as many are not usable. We did enjoy our stay, it was very peaceful.

Beautiful home with amazing view

Our group had a wonderful time at this rental. The house is larger than I expected with plenty of space. The backyard view is awesome, we even got to see the hot air balloons early in the morning from the yard. Everything was clean and in order. We would definitely book here again.

Fantastic Experience

Our eight girl vacation was amazing. There was plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen was well stock with anything we needed to eat in. The hot tub was the biggest hit. It was generally used at the start of the day and again in the evening. Our contact for the property returned messages promptly. The pictures listed were very accurate. I highly recommend this property to anyone wanting a great experience while staying in Temecula.

Disappointed - As others say, house is dated

1. This house is advertised as having “Cable/Directv”. Not the case. When you get there, the house book says “streaming only”. Not much to watch. 2. Two of the four TV remotes were missing or not working. Property Manager said she would have fixed next day and would let us know time this would be done. Neither happened. 3. We had other issues with the home and sent an email without response for 3 days. When we contacted VRBO, the property manager responded within 2 hours that our email miraculously showed up after we contacted VRBO. She stated we should have tried her phone. Without going in to all the details about the problems we had, we will say the bones of the house are nice, the view is incredible, the landscaping is beautiful, the cleaning was great…..but this house should not be listed as “luxury” and needs some repair so the experience matches the description shown on VRBO.
