"Up scale hotel , healthy walking distance to town. Our room was over the underground parking garage and we heard the door opener every time a car entered or left. It was shoulder season so that didnt happen often. The room was absolutely gorgeous with a patio surrounded by trees to block you from the road."

"My wife and I stayed here for our 3rd wedding anniversary in mid-June. We had previously stayed here in March 2019 for a ski trip and really enjoyed it, hence the return visit. Everything about the stay was awesome. Of particular note is the staff. Right from the beginning, Eric was very helpful and friendly. In fact, everytime we came down the elevator to the lobby, there was someone there to greet us with a smile and friendly word. In addition to Eric, Jake also was a standout person. We booked a room for next February for a ski trip. Before we booked, we asked if we could see some of the choices (room size and type) in order to make a better choice. Jake showed us several rooms and made the decision on our room choice easier. Hint, it was not the room we originally thought we would book. Overall, if we could give more than five stars, we would. I doubt we will ever stay anywhere else in Mountain Village."

"This hotel was the perfect location to tour the town and to take the gondola. Just steps from the gondola and many restaurants and shops. Staff were amazing! Would definitely stay again. "

"Highly recommend! Location is perfect: 1. It’s right next to the river which is lovely to walk along and listen to at night, 2. Perfect walking distance to food, shopping, bike rentals, park, and one of the gondola stations, 3. Parking is included and covered, and 4. The property is nestled perfectly away from the Main Street so it is quiet and provides the most lovely views. Property is clean and accommodating. Pool, hot tub, and steam room were clean and has the best views to admire while relaxing. We’re already planning our return trip to Telluride (which is dreamy) and without hesitation would stay at The Ice House again. "

"This condo was absolutely perfect for my husband and I. Every morning we walked down the path along the river to cowboy coffee. Enjoyed the short walk to the gondola along with all the amazing restaurants and stores in telluride. We didn’t need to drive anywhere except when we went fly fishing. We enjoyed the sounds of nature just outside our window. The complex hot tub was perfect after long hikes we took. Bed was super comfortable. Great location!!"
