Pretty run down. AC did not work but staff quickly responded helpfully. The room was in fair condition. There was grab and go breakfast with limited option. Upside: opens at 5 am and good coffee machine.

It was difficult to find Capri as there were no signs. We went door to door to hotels to find it. The room was fine - under construction, but three beds which was nice. Breakfast was frustrating - coffee machine rebooting....pancake machine not working.

The motel is undergoing renovations and the other motels in the area as well. For a family traveling use to staying at Holiday Inns, this was unpleasant. We wanted to explore Smithers but accommodations within the town are bleak.

I saw some of the reviews before booking. The price reflects some changes that are happening at the hotel. Our room had all new stuff and a welcome upgrade to the height of the vanity by 4”. I have been at a few hotels lately where I feel like a giant. No complaints as we had a comfortable room and a complimentary breakfast at a very fair price.
