Honestly, this facility reminded me of a penitentiary that had been refitted to be a hotel. Everything from the reception desk, to the rooms itself. The staircase didn't have any lights which is dangerous when there's no elevator. The rooms were unfinished. The electrical outlet didn't work so I couldn't make coffee in the morning. I just wanted to get the heck out of there. Thankfully the staff was really nice.

Would have been nice if there were curtains so everyone couldnt see into the room. That and the water smelled so bad! It was a room and there was a bed, but for $140 next time id sleep in my truck.

Continental breakfast sausage not very appetizing for my wife who ate nothing as she has medical dietary concerns . She can eat small amount s of bacon , ham ,if available , scrambled eggs , sourdough bread , honeydew , (no grain breads or cereal) , yogurt cup’s . Updates in room were nice except bathroom wall unfinished on right hand side and lighting very poor above bathroom sink for shaving or women trying to put on their cosmetic’s . Lighting very poor between beds for reading . No outside window screen on window opening to allow more fresh air into room . Other than that a very great improvement because of the new renovations . We have used your facilities whenever we have had to overnight in Smithers for the past five years . Thank you

Entire floor smelled of wet dog. Our room smelled of strongly of wet dog and something else even though we picked the non-pet room. Slept with the windows open to try and lessen the smell with the indian restaurant next door so the highway noise was very evident. There were either dirty or permanently stained towels in the bathroom. The carpets are all heavily visibly stained with ground in dirt/stains visible everywhere. Some stains looked like toothpaste smeared into the carpet. The carpet was sticky. We were to tired to try and get a better room, if possible, so we just slept, didnt shower and left in the morning. Would not stay here again. But at least they have free breakfast.

Clean, newer renovations, average. We reserved a King and the Hotels system said it was a Queen. Had to push to get the King even after showing the Expedia reservation. Not very well planned out rooms.
