My birthday stay at the halfmoon near Ironbridge

The stay was amazing from Start to finish the staff work so hard and nothing was to much trouble clean comfortable outstanding room location fantastic we will be returning food Fantastic 😊

Great location and very clean room

Lovely clean room and in a very scenic location next to R. Severn. Unfortunately wi-fi was unreliable and unable to connect on several occasions during the stay.

Really enjoyed my stay there, food was excellent and the staff were all very helpful and friendly. Being a busy pub it was a bit noisy at certain times but that's only to be expected. Great stay and will definitely go back there.

Hotel dining was not open so wasn’t able to try it. Check closing days before booking if you want to eat there. Room was clean, comfortable and warm. Recommended it to colleagues who have also booked rooms and been equally happy. Sadly couldn’t use recently due to price increase at half term.

Always stay here :)

I always stay here when I run the Silkin Way Ultramarathon annually. I would not stay anywhere else, purely because the rooms are sooooo nice, cosy, warm, clean, and just perfect. The food is also great here. All in all along with the lovely staff, it's a fantastic place to stay.

Overall the location and setting is quite beautiful, and relaxing, especially by the river. The rooms were clean and tidy, the atmosphere in the bar and restaurant was pleasant and comfortable. The food on offer was very good and the Cod Loin delicious

Half Moon Jackfield.

Excellent stay at Half Moon. Comfortable bed, large room. Easy walking distance to the museums, Staff extremely friendly, no hesitation in making your stay enjoyable.Breakfast and evening meals very good. We will certainly stay here again.

We had really nice room overlooking the river. Very clean and modern. Fabulous bathroom and comfy bed. Great walk to Ironbridge from there. Lots of free parking. Had dinner at their restaurant on the banks of the River Severn. Very busy, so slow service, but good food.

A nice room above a nice pub. Breakfast isn't included, but it's a short walk into Ironbridge for all the cafes and shops there. The car park is huge but it also a popular spot for drinkers by the river. The staff were very nice and helpful. The room was noisy until pub closing, but this wasn't a problem as it is a room above a pub.

Very friendly, nice room, we were given keys to pub back door with separate entrance so we could come and go as we liked. Lovely big car park. Excellent food in the pub but unfortunately no breakfast which in my opinion is a shame. My room was above kitchens so I could smell food but kitchens closed quite early and after that it was fine. I would stay here again for sure.

Beautiful position, plenty of free parking, Evening meal very good, waiter was only too happy to provide extra cushions for dining chair which for me was too low for the table. Beautifully clean room, compact but well designed and very cheap for single occupancy of a small double room. The only issue was the the manner I was greeted with upon arrival , distinct lack of customer care or charm

great night away

Only went for a night away and a good meal, Never been before, Room was very good and immaculate. Lovely gardens near the river for use in summer. Got to say one of the best meals we have had for ages. Mushrooms and bruschetta for starters, lasagne and fajita's for mains. Gentle hint share a starter, mains huge but both wonderful and drinks well priced. Party of 24 in for a birthday meal but didn't affect our service at all. No room for sweets!!! 2starters, 2 mains 3 Guinness 2 large rose wine and change from £100. We will be back soon

Good pub, bad b&b

Booked to stay friday to monday. On arrival had to complain about the music blasting through the room from the kitchen which was downstairs below the room. After 4 complaints and threatening to leave it was finally turned off. After paying the outstanding balance on the room, the music was once again turned up, left early. Food was nice but would never stay here again
