This apartment hotel is located between body shops. Close to a dining out area. Breakfast is very basiic. Some days due to low occupancy, they provided a food that looks like from previous day. Room without any usb outlet . Shabby towels though clean looks like need to be replaced. Soap in size of a quarter and one liquid bottle that is a shampo/conditioner/body wash. They are so cheap that I wonโ€™t return.

This property is basic but clean and safe. The staff is so friendly, helpful and accommodating. Jaffa is a little rough. You need to really watch out for yourself and your belongings. We almost got robbed while at the beach. Gratefully a man who was watching saved us. Just be cautious.

Arrived for an overnight stay. With it being a blazing hot day we arrived in the room with the air con not working. It took a couple of hours for this issue to be fixed. The room at best was below average and it looked tired. The wifi is rubblish The manager at reception and any other staff we spoke to at the hotel were amazingly friendly and helpful. I can not fault them.

When my family and i arrived at the property a little before 12 AM we were pleasant surprised by the girl at the front desk. she was very helpful, nice and attentive. When we got to the rooms, in spite the fact that we requested and were promised two rooms, one for 3 people and 1 for 2 people, we realized that there were only room for 2 people in each room. Being late we didn't complained nor tried to change the rooms. The rooms were somehow cleaned but still dirty and very unpleasant. The breakfast was good, the stuff was veery helpful, but overall, seeing the dining room, with broken tables and discolored chairs made ll the experience, just dissatisfactory! We understand that the hotel could not do too much about the location, but every where around was dirty and full of graffiti! Above all, the most disappointed thing was that it was advertised as having airport shuttle but there was none. We had to pay almost $400.00 back and forth for transportation! Very disappointed! And worst of it is that when i emailed the hotel asking about details of the airport shuttle, i got no answer! Even today, a week after i sent the email, I still received no answer! I will never recommend Ruth Daniel Residence!

It's a good location with access to main roads and close to Jaffa. They have bar and restaurant but they had not reopened from the pandemic, so I don't know if that is good. They are a site for many youth trips, so be prepared for noise in the halls and chaos in the lobby.

detailed information for choosing

the room was very clean, the reception staff very helpful and nice. excellent underground parking. however the safe was locked and there was no one around after arival who could open it. there was kettle and coffe in the room but no cups to drink, the was a lovely bath but no plug, towels are very small , but the receprion gave extra upon request. soap container in shower/bath empty. so this very friendly clean economical accomodation falls down on its room preperation/supervision.

TERRIBLE - It's more like a motel worth $50/night

Terrible Ruth Daniel Residence motel. Not worth more than $50/night. Dirty, uncared for, no AC, no hot water, the window door stuck. I had to move rooms. Constructions and noise. The owners smoke in the reception area. The AC gets stuck in the middle of the night and not maintenance... the AC stopped working on Sat and no maintenance.... It takes 4-5 of wasteful water to get some warm water in a dirty bath. 50/50 chance you'll get hot water. Everything is dirty and cheap. The fountain you see in the picture doesn't exist. The toilette was not cleaned and definitely not sterilized. I will upload the pictures later.

Nice hotel for sleeping only

If you are looking for a nice hotel, relatively clean and at a fair price for sleeping only in the Jaffa area, then this is the place. Excellent location and with the operation of the light rail the location will be even better. Beyond that, there is nothing to write home about. Just a hotel.

The hotel was adequate. Level of cleanliness was average at best. Arm chair was so dtained that I would not sit on it. Linens nice and clean. AC was strong. Parking on site a plus.

very close to Jaffa

very good position very close to Jaffa, ten minutes walk. the hotel is big and offer breakfast and parking. the rooms especially bathroom need some refurbishment but overall ok stay.

This is a perfect hotel for disable people. My mother on wheelchair could use a rest room and shower herself without our help. The hotel has a perfect location with a lot of small restaurants and shops around. The perfect breakfast was included in the nightly price. Only one thing I did not like it was the price for dinner. We did not include it when we made reservation and paid in the hotel then. Very high price for dinner and did not worth because nothing was special at all. The best choice to pay for the breakfast and eat outside at night.

There was mildew in the bathroom. It smelled bad. The AC didn't work well at all, and we couldn't sleep as a result. The breakfast was mediocre. The building and the rooms look nice, but the lack of maintenance and proper AC make this a cheap hotel for a reason.
