"Hotel was well situated in the heart of the village, easy to locate with plenty of onsite parking. Next door to a great pub with good food. Room was very clean and tidy with a sea view. Breakfast was really good. Very friendly place, would definitely stay again if in the area. "

"I was made to feel very welcome on arrival at the Thornhill and every time we returned. The breakfast menu covered all tastes and preferences. My only problem was that we had a room on the top floor and, because of my disability, I struggled to get to my room. This was not the fault of the hotel or staff, but my own. If I go again, I will make sure to book the ground floor room."

"My first stay at Lynton House and an enjoyable one. It was a welcome change to find good old fashioned friendly personal service where you were shown to your room and told where everything was and how it worked such as the pressure shower. Breakfast was good and tasty and set you up for the day and the hotel's location on the seafront was a bonus. Free car parking is available overnight but there is a daytime charge.
