"Was not clear in the description that the building is actually divided into 3 units. We booked the 3 bedrooms only to realise it's upstairs. And is a big con for a disabled visitor. The flight up is okay but imagine if you can't climb up the stairs! Each bedroom had their tiny individual shower rooms. "This is a historic pub full of history and culture. The people are lovely! The bnb portion is a newer construction of little row cottages in the back. Very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this place for good food, fun times, and a great place to stay! Right beside the access to Sliabh liag as well!"

"Charming old country house on beautiful property with gardens, situated just minutes walk from Ardara village. The house is an old period home and maybe in need of some upgrades here and there. But if you're into these kinds of residences, you'll love it. We were put in a room in the adjacent coach house, which was a put as the upstairs rooms in the house itself looked beautiful and we were the only people staying the night we were there. There is no dinner served, so you'll need to head down to Ardara to eat, but a great cooked breakfast awaits so. Cute little bar in the main front living room, tended to by the owner, a lovely Englishman who has been running the place since he and his wife acquired it in the 1980s. If you want a break from the corporate Hilton style hotel experience, this is well worth it."
