"We stayed in the Sandhouse many years ago and throughly enjoyed our stay in a luxury 4 star experience. This time it was as if the place had stayed still in time in every sense it is tired it is grubby and has lost its panache. On a positive the breakfast was first class and all the staff were lovely. So whilst I would not say it was a disaster the 4 star pricing was not reflective of the hotel standard."

The host was very kind and helpful and attended to whatever we needed in a quickly and friendly manner.
