Privately nestled among leafy trees and landscaped gardens, the home offers a peaceful and inviting setting with plenty of space for the whole family, including three bedrooms, two bathrooms, two living areas, and wide, shady timber verandas.
Designed for easy indoor-outdoor living, the light-filled lounge opens onto a spacious deck overlooking the Myall River, while the fully equipped kitchen provides ample bench space for preparing family meals. The property also features a long driveway with room for a boat, with a nearby ramp and excellent fishing spots close by.
The bedrooms are generously sized, including a main with a queen bed, TV, and water views, a second queen bedroom, and a large third bedroom with a queen bed and bunk beds ideal for kids. We had a lovely stay with 3 families at Lakeside Cottage. The cottage is beautiful, very clean and very roomy, with all the amenities we needed for our stay. Perfect location right across from the river.
The only negatives are no a/c, so as the weather was hot we found we needed to leave the doors and windows open to cool the house and get airflow. As there were fly screens we had a lot of flies and mozzies in the house.
The property was in the perfect location! Waterfront and close to shops, however fenced so we didn’t have to worry about the kids. Great verandah, spent most of our time on there! Will definitely return!
Location is fantastic with a wide veranda to sit and watch life go by. Property within walking distance of village shops and eateries of which there are several to choose from. We enjoyed the serenity staying end of Jan however the cleanliness of the inside was a concern upon arrival. There is no a/c but each bedroom has a fan. The fan in the room we chose had dust caked on it & the flyscreens so given the fan was the only form of cooling I had to clean the fan and hosed down the flyscreens. There were other areas of concern which were raised with Property Mgmt who was responsive. The two front bedrooms do not have fly screens so this could be a concern in the heat of summer esp with lights on at night. The place is spacious and can cater for a large party including several cars.

Loved where this home was situated. Convenient and beautiful outlook. Spending time on the front deck was a highlight of our stay. Bird watching, dolphin spotting and the perfect spot to watch the sunrise.
