Sweet Fall Weekend Getaway!

We came here for a bachelorette party weekend and had a great time! Right in the heart of taylor’s falls - we were able to hike, eat good food, and catch a boat cruise in stillwater! Cory was an amazing host and was responsive to all our questions. Home was clean and provided all the things we needed!

Girlfriend’s Week

My friend and I booked the Scandinavian Retreat for our girlfriend get-away week, and we couldn’t have been more pleased. The house is welcoming, the decor is peaceful and set up in a way that encourages relaxation as well as communication. At the end of the day, my friend and I enjoyed having our own space for privacy at night. The hosts were welcoming and helpful, and check-in was very easy. We highly recommend this location, and our hosts!

The house was very cute. The owners thought of everything. There were amenitiies all over the house. The lanai was a special treat. Very relaxing to sit there and have morning coffee. The house was very, very clean, and the kitchen was supplied with all kinds of utensils and dinnerware. Coffee was even supplied! We had a very enjoyable stay

Fun Family Getaway in Taylors Falls!

We had a wonderful stay at the Scandinavian Retreat over Thanksgiving weekend. It was the perfect start to the holiday season, made even more special by the village parade that began right in front of the house! We enjoyed walking just a few blocks to the festivities, where we admired the beautiful lights, bonfires, and historic homes illuminated for the occasion. The house itself was cozy and welcoming, equipped with everything we needed and many thoughtful extras. There were plenty of dishes and cooking supplies, along with additions like avocado and coconut oils, seasonings, condiments, and handy supplies such as baggies and foil. The soaps, lotions, and extra toiletries were a lovely touch as well. Our son especially loved having his own space up the spiral staircase. We would absolutely book this lovely home again. Thank you for a fantastic experience!

Wonderful stay. The home is beautifully decorated and thoughtfully stocked— everything we could think of and more. Check-in and check-out were super easy (no long chore lists!). We loved the comfy beds and the outdoor seating area. Location was perfect— we walked to town and had a 5 minute drive to canoe. Do be aware of the big damage deposit hold on credit cards… but it was a seamless stay.
