"Loved the historical ambience of the building, and the modern conveniences incorporated in period style. Comfortable beds and plentiful kitchen-ware and linen available to use. Surprised by the lack of actual wine glasses so we used tumblers and beer handles! An expresso machine would have topped it off!"

"When we arrived at Champers in the afternoon the reception was locked so I used the buzzer outside to finally summon someone. When they came I said I was checking in and he said they can't do it there. He said he could put us in the Du Pont Motor Inn which was back where we had come from. When I booked the room it said the room was available. The review above is for the Du Pont. They put us in an "Executive" Unit for the same price. While the unit was fairly good in terms of quality I would not call it executive. The worst thing with it was that it had been poorly cleaned. The staff were also not very friendly or helpful. They did not give us the WiFi password when we arrived and when we got back to the unit later that night and tried the internet of course the reception was closed so could not get the password."
