Communication on booking was so difficult I would not rent again through expedia/vrbo. Steps at property were totally unsafe and deck needed attention for safety. The house itself was comfortable

Quick family trip
Place was lovely. More spacious than I'd presumed. And a few random bits in the complex for the young kids to explore which they enjoyed

Should have been great.
Lovely setting, layout of the cottage very good, attention to detail poor. We didn't have hot water for 2 nights out of 4 due to the gas bottles being empty and reserve also quickly emptied. This was the most expensive accomodation we have ever used (it was over Christmas) and the most disappointing.

Check the gas bottles
Great property to stay at, super cute and roomy. Loved it and how central it was to Taupo. However, we had no gas the entire time we were staying there and had to supply our own lpg gas bottles to have a hot shower with no compensation. During our stay the gas was not replaced and it was poor management especially during the busy holiday period and the premium price we stayed there. Also the bedrooms were filled with dusty cobwebs in the corners with quite a few spiders. Apart from those two hiccups we really enjoyed our stay.

Easter week break
It's always a good sign when you can smell bleach as you walk in! Our cottage was clean, very well equipped (plenty of heating & cooling) and comfortable. Parking is ample and the drier came in handy too. I will definitely be rebooking!

The fridge didn’t work and we weren’t left towels
The house is ok but the fridge didn’t work which must have been apparent before we arrived. The pool needs a good clean. those issues aside it was good.
