Overall a newish place and very clean. A very small kitchenette. Air conditioning would have been helpful. Windows didn't open more than an inch.

Perfect stay in taupo
the accomodation was ideal for our stay, the balcony was lovely and we got a gorgeous sunset the night we stayed. The place was perfectly kitted out with everything we needed and I would recommend Kerry's place to anyone visiting Taupo in the future!

We booked Fairview for an overnight stop on our way up to Auckland and we were very pleased with the standard of accommodation; comfortable bed, good bathroom, decent towels and well equipped kitchenette. Property overlooks Taupo lake and beyond to the mountains, great views, albeit the weather on our second day was abysmal and we could barely see the end of the street let alone the lake. Improvements: a small cafetière would be useful in the kitchen, great outside dining and seating space but when the weather comes down you are left to balance your breakfast plate on your knees sitting on a bedside chair. (showing their age), a small folding table and two chairs would be really useful. Hosts gave good advice for local eating and the house is easy to get to with easy access to the main highways. Would we stay there again, most definitely (if they’ll have us back).

Good for a short stay.
The accomodation is simple. The baathroom is big. We missed a table to sit on. There is one with comfortable chairs on the terrasse, but it was too cold to sit outside in the morning. In total the price-performance ratio was ok.
