Wonderful stay.

This hotel is a great find. Clean. Great breakfast. Super staff. The rooms are very attractive and mine had a working fireplace. They learned I was a birder and put me in touch with a local author of the Tapalpa bird guide.

We were treated to an upgrade and our room was so spacious! We had everything we needed and were comfortable. There was great water pressure & hot water. Breakfast was included and it was outstanding both days. The staff were attentive and kind. Street parking was good and we were a 15 minute walk to Centro. The hotel is in a very quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed our time in Hotel La Casona.

The hotel is very nice however value for the price is not there. We were one of two guests total which should indicate to management that maybe price is too high. Property is farther from centro but is literally only hotel allowing dogs for an extra cost. The staff was really great and included breakfast was amazing.

We had a delightful stay, the hotel caters to all your romantic needs. Firewood for fireplace daily,nespresso machine for great espresso coffe, amazing breakfast options by Alfonso and all is included in the price. Great excursion options to see.

We loved this small hotel. Each room is individually decorated and unique. The breakfast was simple but wonderful and set us up for a day of exploring. The staff was attentive; we lacked for nothing. We found the bed a bit uncomfortable, too hard for our taste, but we managed. They brought us ice and stem wine glasses on request. We will definitely stay again.

The people on the back of the La casona has a rooster so he starts making this noise since 2:00 am till 12:00 pm so don’t let you sleep at all they give you something for your ears so you can not hear anything but still hear 😏

La Casona es un lugar PRECIOSO para hospedarte, las recámaras son de excelente tamaño, las camas son cómodas y la decoración la hace un espacio único, el desayuno estaba incluido y la atención y la comida estuvieron excelentes. Me enamore de ese lugar, 100% recomendado, espero regresar pronto !

Me gustó que había mucho silencio, la habitación estaba muy limpia y tiene ese ambiente de cabaña, el personal muy atento y amable me sentí muy bien atendida , el desayuno riquísimo y hay estacionamiento seguro queda muy cerca del centro y del valle de los enigmas en carro.

Hotel súper bonito, limpio, con instalaciones en excelente estado, una arquitectura clásica mexicana y de la zona , habitaciones super bien decoradas, personal muy amable y dispuesto a ayudarte. Desayuno bufet clásico mexicano super delicioso, chilaquiles verdes y rojos, frijoles, sopes, guisos, café , jugo natural, pan etc . Para volver siempre. No era la primera vez que habíamos llegado. 12 minutos a pie del centro histórico de Tapalpa.
