"El Pueblo Lodge is an older charming hotel/resort in Taos. It is well maintained, clean, and convenient to the Taos Plaza. The complimentary breakfast is extensive and well staffed by friendly helpful people. There is on site parking near the rooms. Two of the buildings are two floors but do not have elevators. However, the staff carried our luggage up to our room. If we get back to Taos, we will definitely stay at the El Pueblo. "

Fireplace did not work. 6. Very noisy refrigerator. 7. Only one mirror in room. 8. No phone in room. 9. No microwave in room. 10. Out-dated TV with no movie channels. 11. No hair dryer in room. 12. Not adequate counter space in Bath. 13. Not enough towels or towel racks in Bath. 14. Required full payment up front. 15. Unreasonable cancellation policy. "

"Great location and serene property. Finishing touches are lacking - some broken items in our room neglected or hastily fixed. Pool and hot tub was closed due to a problem our entire stay. "

"This is a beautiful historic property that is extremely well maintained and inviting. Our host was very knowledgeable about its history and she was so friendly and helpful! Breakfast was delicious with so many options, prepared and served by our host in a relaxed and friendly manner. We stayed in the Happy Trails Room and the bed was quite comfortable. The decor is lovely and the many amenities provided were great. One small inconvenience is that the bathroom is quite small and does not have any counter space, although there is one small shelf above the sink to place personal items. However, this did not diminish our time at the Inn and we would love to return for another stay soon."
