Very cute little lodge. Love the bed up in the loft. Very cozy. Unfortunately a/c didn’t work and carpet/room had a musky smell. Drains in kitchen sink, bathroom shower and sink didn’t drain well and was only able to take a couple minute shower before it was overflowing.

Our stay was enjoyable and the property offered an amazing view. The room was clean and the bed sheets were fresh, which we really appreciated. The only concern we had was that when we opened the drawers, there was noticeable dust inside. This caused us to cough and sneeze a couple of times, though it settled quickly afterward. Aside from that, everything else was comfortable and we had a good experience overall.

This is the kind of place you stay if all you need are 4 walls and a ceiling for the night. There were actually a few more amenities than I expected. There was a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker (and all the coffee fixins), plates and glasses, multiple rolls of paper towels, in addition to the standard linens you might expect. They had great bodywash and hair care products, and plenty of towels. It's an older place, but it works for people like me, who come for activities and just need a place to sleep. The guy who checked me in was cool and helpful and answered any questions I had. I felt safe and secure here, but most importantly, it served its purpose as a home base while I was there hiking. The only thing I did not like was the shower was only partially enclosed. Where you enter, there was only a half glass partition, no door to fully enclose the shower area. I had a cold breeze on my back and ass, and some of the water gets onto the bath mat and floor, which you step on after the shower when you are trying to dry off. Otherwise, it's a great place, and I have no problem staying there again the next time I am in the area.

Beautiful area! Everything was perfect in our room. We are planning to come back to the area again this summer and plan to book again. We saw a lot of wildlife--even a bear! Our family of 4 had plenty of space. We loved having the kitchenette available.

We’re here on the off season, so I can’t say anything about skiing or anything related to that but the room at the lodge was cozy and comfortable. The host was easy to reach and very helpful and pleasant. I would definitely stay here again 😊

Told to go to a certain address to check in; no one there. Called number on flyer on door; had to drive a bit to get to our room. Older property, small, really about a 7/10 but for one night, gave it 10/10. Looked like it was closed; nothing bright and cheery like the picture shown on the internet.

Room clean, staff good but maint dropped the ball on shower drain until personal attention the second request. Road noise is loud and begins early . Prob a better winter place and to far from daily trips into Taos.

Great last minute stay

Ours was a last minute stay late at night. We were given quick and detailed instructions on how to gain access to our unit, plus it was easy to find. Only 1 1/2 mikes miles from the ski resort. Our room was very spacious and very clean. The bed and linens were super comfortable. The only con was a lack of water pressure in the shower, so it just took a little longer to get the conditioner out of my hair, lol. We would definitely stay again when in the area.

You drive up to the lodge to check in and then back to the motel. Nice big room with a comfortable queen down stair and a queen bed in the loft. Mystery stains in the comforter tho. Both upstairs and downstairs beds. Sheets seemed clean but the comforters weren’t very comfortable

We stayed in the suite with a kitchenette. It was very clean and looked like a newly remodeled bathroom with walk in shower. We loved waking up to the view in the mountains and even saw a deer grazing by. It’s pet friendly which was a bonus.
