"My husband and I loved our stay at Uddastri Retreat. We were greeted by the hosts on arrival and given a tour of the place. Our room was stunning with incredible detail on the decor. The breakfast was great and the pool area was amazing! Overall I do not have a bad thing to say about this place. Location is easy enough to get to and you can be in Oblia within 20 mins! Would definately recommend this place! "

"The property is really beautiful and well designed. We signed up for their tasting menu on two occasions and were a little disappointed in the food. The dinning area is stunning but you can’t choose what you want to eat so unfortunately we didn’t really love what was offered. Knowing the menu ahead of time or the ability to choose from a few options would have been much appreciated. We were never told the price of the prefix menus either and were a little shocked upon checkout. Just a heads up"

"We stayed here only one night. It was very clean, modern, quiet and new. We will be returning here at the end of the week. The only problem is its location - quite far from the center of Bonifacio. I thought that it was 4 minutes to the main town but appeared to be much further Without a car, I don t know how we ll get around when we get back. (We arrived by car with our son-in-law, but he left). "

Hotel has own beds on the beach but you have to pay €30 per day and the hotel pool is for show, you can’t get in it. Would be great if the rooms had a kettle/tea and coffee facilities and an iron. "

"Cavallo is an idyllic and beautiful island. Unfortunately the hotel is no longer run in a first class way and I could not in good conscience recommend staying here (especially at these prices). For example, there is a ferry that takes you to the island. We called the hotel bc we were 3 mins late (after a 17 hour flight from California that wasn't so bad). The hotel assured us they would contact the ferry and make sure they would wait those three minutes. The ferry said no one ever contacted...

The reson for a low score is the uncomfortable bed and the low pressure shower that felt like someone was sprinkling water on me. The service was outstanding as well. "We loved this hotel! From the moment you walk into the lobby you are impressed with the views. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Our room was very comfortable had an amazing view of the ocean and the pool. Beach loungers with umbrellas! Super big and cozy beach towels. The restaurant and Pool bar were fabulous with great variety of drinks and local cuisine. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. "
